On Sunday, October 22, guests at the Disneyland Resort took their final cruises aboard the happiest cruise that ever sailed for the last time before it closed to make way for its holiday overlay. After the day finished, it’s a small world closed for a couple of weeks to get its overlay and become it’s a small world Holiday. This continues a Disneyland tradition that began in 1997 when it’s a small world became it’s a small world Holiday for the first time. This first holiday overlay opened on November 25, 1997. This year, the holiday version of the attraction will be opening on November 10, 2023.
