Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy Crash Coronation Concert For King Charles III

During the Coronation Concert to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy made a surprise appearance. While Hugh Bonneville was hosting the coronation, Kermit and Piggy suddenly appeared as they were looking for their seat in the “royal box.” The following conversation ended up with Miss Piggy basically telling Hugh that they were getting married and he better get her a really big ring before they headed off to their seats.

During the segment, King Charles III, the Queen, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and their children could all be seen enjoying watching the moment play out.

The Coronation Concert was held on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle. Throughout the night there were performances from legendary artists including Lionel Ritchie, Katie Perry and Take That. Winnie the Pooh also showed up and chatted with Piglet about the King’s well-documented love of red squirrels. Tom Cruise appeared in a pre-recorded video shot from a Top Gun Warbird plane saying  “Pilot to pilot. Your Majesty, you can be my wingman any time”,  before saluting and banking off. Other videos sharing little-known facts about the King were submitted by Hugh Jackman, Pierce Brosnan, Dame Joan Collins, and Richard E Grant.

Throughout the night there were many other performances that were enjoyed by the 2,000+ that were in attendance with the King and Royal Family. The coronation of King Charles III was meant to be the beginning of what is being billed as a slimmed-down and more modern monarchy.
