“Avatar Experience” Coming to Disneyland Resort, per Bob Iger

This afternoon, The Walt Disney Company held its Q1 Earnings Call. In the call, Bob Iger shared the success of Avatar: The Way of Water and how it was easily the most successful film of Quarter 1. In an exciting announcement, Iger shared that there would be an “Avatar Experience” coming to the Disneyland Resort, with more information coming at a later date.

At this time, Disney fans do not know what this experience will entail or when it will come to life, but we are thrilled to see it! In 2017, Pandora: The World Of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort to overwhelming acclaim. The land features bioluminescence and two incredible attractions that continue to draw crowds almost 6 years later.

Later in the call Iger confirmed that an “Avatar experience” will be coming to the Disneyland Resort, along with others based on popular franchises. He also shared that he had just spoken with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro earlier in the day.
