Official Voice of Mickey Mouse, Bret Iwan, Shares How He Was Quite Literally ‘Drawn to Mickey’

Bret Iwan, the official voice of Mickey Mouse went on the Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise aboard the Disney Wonder in 2022. While aboard, he did a chat and draw about Mickey Mouse. Bret not only voices Mickey Mouse, but he can also draw him. In a video that was released by Disney, Bret talks about how he came to draw Mickey Mouse and how that led him also to voice him. He also shares some advice he was given in response to a letter he wrote to Walt Disney Animation.

Bret Iwan has been the official voice of Mickey Mouse since 2009. Since then, he has been heard bringing Mickey Mouse to life with his vocal talents on television shows, in video games, in the parks, and in many other places! As mentioned in his video, Bret went to school for art. He attended the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. He is the fourth person to be the official voice of Mickey Mouse.
