Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Water Parks

Walt Disney World Theme Parks are currently operating under normal conditions. Please continue to monitor news outlets for the latest weather information.

Walt Disney World Water Parks and Miniature Golf locations are temporarily closed on Thursday, November 10:

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season.)
  • Winter Summerland Miniature Golf
  • Fantasia Gardens
  • Fairways Miniature Golf

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is currently operating under normal conditions.

As seen in the post above, currently the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and also Disney Springs are not modifying their operations at this time. However, this could change as the weather changes. The Disney Cruise Line, however, has had to modify the itineraries of some of its fleet to avoid the impact of the storm.

The updates to these operations come as Subtropical Storm Nicole is expected to make landfall on late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. The storm could make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane potentially. Ahead of its arrival Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has also declared a State of Emergency for about half of the state. This comes just months after Hurricane Ian devastated parts of Florida.

Daps Magic will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available.
