More details have been released about the Disneyland After Dark: Grad Night Reunion. One of the details that were unveiled today is that the 2022 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band will be performing during the event. The band will be a part of a pep rally on the parade route that features Mickey’s glee club and also Goofy’s dance team. The return of the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band comes after two years of being on hiatus due to the pandemic. Their addition to Disneyland After Dark will add extra energy to the night.
Along with the pep rally featuring the 2022 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band, other details about Disneyland After Dark were released as well. Below are some of the highlights that are being touted for the event.
Dance the Night Away
- Pep Rally with Mickey’s glee club, goofy’s dance team, and the 2022 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band.
- Route 66 street party in Cars Land throws thing back to the 60s. This includes “Hot Rod” the DJ and dance instructor “Cam” who will teach the Hully Gully.
- Hollywood Land will offer present-day hits that are popular with this year’s graduating class. This will include Hip-Hop, Cumbia, Ragee, Punk, Funk, and more.
- Pacific Wharf will celebrate the hits of the 70s and 80s with retro disco karaoke with some of the greatest disco hits.
Photo Memories
There will be multiple places to capture memories photographically with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Daisy, Chip and Dale, who will all be in their graduation cap and gown outfits. There will also be photo ops that include a school bus where guests can re-capture the nostalgia of the journey to grad night.
Food
Who can forget the flavors offered by the foods in the cafeteria? For Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion there will be food offerings throughout Disney California Adventure that are inspired by cafeteria food. These offerings will be found at ward Wieners, Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, Cozy Cone Motel, Pacific Wharf Café, Hollywood Lounge, Pym Test Kitchen, Terran Treats, Schmoozies!, Smokejumpers Grill, and more. Disney is also encouraging guests to dress up for Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion. How will you be dressing up? As with most Disneyland After Dark events, there will be a three-hour mixer before the party begins where guests can get into Disney California Adventure and start the fun ahead of the start of the event.
