Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have multiple entertainment options for guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort this summer. Disney has shared what to look forward to this summer, and there is quite a bit.
First off, Disney KiteTails will be getting some updates. Those who have already seen the show know that there is one main section to sit in for the best view. This summer, the show will be changed to provide a universal viewing experience from anywhere around Discovery River Lagoon. Along with the changing of perspectives for the shows, they will be shortened and provided more often throughout the day. Between the shows, Discovery River will see Character Flotillas going on cruises around Discovery Island. Mickey and friends, Timon, Rafiki, and Pocahontas will be some of the characters cruising throughout the day.
Festival of the Lion King will see some fan favorites return as well. The Tumble Monkeys and the iconic “flying” birds will be returning to this show. Both will arrive in time for summer. Are you ready to see the birds soaring above the stage?
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond will be opening at the Theater in the Wild in DinoLand U.S.A in the coming months. It will include some fan-favorite songs and also some new elements as well. The premise of the show is that fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in Finding Nemo have made their way across the ocean to Marine Life Institute. There, the story of Nemo and friends from a different point of view.
Finally, with meet and greets returning to the U.S. Disney Parks, this is true at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well. In the coming month, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be meeting with guests at Adventurers Outpost.
