Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Trailer Explores the Possibilities of Space Travel and the Wonder it Brings

A trailer has been released for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. This new Star Trek series, which arrives on Paramount+ in May, tells of the adventures of Captain Pike and his crew aboard the Enterprise. These are before the iconic exploits of Captain Kirk, who would captain the Enterprise after Pike.

Aboard the Enterprise, Captain Pike is joined by Number One, Spock, and a host of other characters new and old. Check out the trailer below for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The trailer, however, does not start on a strange new world. Instead, it starts in a more familiar location on Earth. However, things move forward and it appears that Pike and the crew of the Enterprise will be boldly going where no one has gone before.

As can be seen on the above trailer, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds looks to pull from the nostalgia of the past and also look forward to some new adventures in new locations throughout the galaxy. It looks to try and capture the audience’s imagination and wonder about what wonders could be found and experienced through the exploration of space.

In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Captain Christopher Pike is portrayed by Anson Mount. Number One is played by Rebecca Romijn and Spock by Ethan Peck. Celia Rose joins the crew as Uhura, Jess Bush plays Nurse Chapel, and Babs Olusanmokun plays Doctor M’Benga.
