This week Disney and State Farm announced that they will be working together for the next few years. Both companies, nearly 100 years old, tout their shared values that focus on being good neighbors and helping people to realize their dreams. Together, this will help both companies to engage with more people in new ways.

The companies are actually within one year of age. Both companies are iconic brands with major brand recognition. Both have deep roots in fostering a sense of community, improving people’s lives, and also giving back. Disney and State Farm these common values will help drive the relationship as it develops in the coming years.

The fruits of this relationship will begin to be seen sometimes this year. Collaborations and sponsorships will be seen for things like an event during Disney Dreamers Academy at Walt Disney World Resort, Good Neighbor Month celebrations in September, and even sponsorship of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. There will be other ways the relationship will be seen as well moving forward.
At Walt Disney World Resort, State Farm will also sponsor two venues. This will include the State Farm Waterview Park at Disney Springs and also the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
In the virtual world, State Farm will be the presenting sponsor of the new Disney Parks planDisney Podcast. It will also be the presenting sponsor of the Five Fantastic Things to Watch This Weekend segment on the weekly D23 Inside Disney podcast.
