Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to Test Standby Queue at Disneyland

Starting on Monday November 22, 2021, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will begin testing a standby queue ahead of the arrival of Disney Genie+ at the Disneyland Resort.

According to Disneyland Resort officials, the attraction will begin testing the hybrid standby and virtual queue starting on Monday. The standby queue will be utilized with the possibility of a virtual queue being instituted at certain times and days. This will result in the virtual boarding group releases at 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM each day not happening during the test.

Disneyland suggests that guests confirm the standby queue usage each morning ahead of their arrival. If not being utilized virtual boarding groups will be available at 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM as has been the case since the park reopened. If the virtual queue is activated during the testing period during the day, guests will need to be inside Disneyland to be able to access it. This is much like what was done on the Indiana Jones Adventure during a similar test.

This standby queue test follows what was done with Web-Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney California Adventure on Avengers Campus starting on November 4, 2021.
