As Walt Disney World Resort continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary, it also continues to bring back more character experiences and entertainment. Already guests can enjoy the Let the Magic Begin stage show at Cinderella Castle when Magic Kingdom opens. The piano player on Main Street, USA has also returned. In EPCOT’s World Showcase, Alberta Bound has returned to Canada and Sergio can again be found juggling on Italy. The Taiko drummers of Matsuriza can also be seen in Japan. Soon there will be even more entertaining experiences to be had at Walt Disney World Resort.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Chakranadi, and Kora Tinga Tinga will be returning to Harambe next week! Next month will see the return of the Tam Tam Drummers in Africa as well.
At Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, performers will again be delighting guests along the waterfront. Yeehaw Bob is also returning on October 14th at the River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
Disney character meet and greets will also be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Princesses will be returning to the Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom. These meet and greets will be modified and not include hugs or autographs at this time, however it will still be possible to get a photo with some favorite Disney Princesses. Over at the Town Square Theatre, Mickey Mouse will be wearing his new EARidescent suit as he poses for photos with his friends. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios Minnie Mouse will be meeting guests at Red Carpet Dreams and the stars of Disney Junior will be found in the Animation Courtyard. All of these character experiences will be arriving in the beginning of November.
With the arrival of Disney character meet and greets, there will still be some of the cavalcades that guests have come to know and love since the parks reopened in 2020. Some of these will be continuing on.
Also at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Movie Magic will be returning on November 7. When it returns it will also include a new Milan sequence. The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular will return to the park as well on December 19!
At this time, Disney has only announced the return of these character meet and greets to Walt Disney World Resort. No announcements have been made regarding character experiences for the Disneyland Resort.
