Star Trek: Picard

Season Three of Star Trek: Picard Announced as New Trailer Released

As part of the Star Trek Day celebrations a new trailer for Star Trek: Picard was released during a livestream event on Paramount+. This came after Jeri Ryan announced that the show had been picked up for a third season. The trailer gives a much deeper look at what will be happening in season two and why.

The trailer seems to indicate that there is a major issue with the timeline that Picard and company need to go back and repair. This also appears to be thanks to the work of Q. Because of this, the timeline in which Picard lives has turned into a world that appears to resemble a Star Trek version of Nazi Germany. This sends Picard and crew back to the 21st century in Los Angeles to attempt to repair the timeline before… they run out of time.

Patrick Stewart, Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Santiago Cabrera, Isa Briones, and Evan Evagora return for Star Trek: Picard for season 2. John de Lancie reprises the role he originated as Q. Annie Wersching will be making her debut as the Borg Queen.

Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard will be arriving on Paramount+ in February 2022.
