Disney Streams a Stream for Hours Before Arrival of “The Streamer” Who Promotes Disney’s Streaming Services

Yesterday Disney streamed a stream for quite literally hours to promotes its streaming bundle. This event took place on a new Twitter handle called @thestreamer. This new handle promised a big announcement at 3:00 on July 27, 2021.

When the stream arrived, it was quite literally a stream of a stream. Beginning at 3:00 PST, it continued on for three hours. The reactions as the stream continued to go on and on were quite varied. Some were amused, others not so much. Confusion was also prevalent.

Following this three-hour stream of a stream, a video was played from The Streamer himself at 6:00 PM PST. It turned out that The Streamer was played by Dave Bautista. The Guardians of the Galaxy star was portraying an old man who lives in the woods and loves to stream The Disney Bundle. This includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. As he shared about the various programs he enjoyed, and there was quite a variety, he also could be seen doing various camping activities.

The stream of a stream that led to The Streamer was a promotion for The Disney Bundle that ranges in prices from $14 a month to $79 a month, based on what features are included (like live TV viewing and no ads). The Disney Bundle can be purchased at TheDisneyBundle.com. If one currently already has one of the Disney streaming services, it is possible to upgrade to The Disney Bundle.
