Music is coming back to the Disneyland Resort! This Friday, June 18, the Disneyland Band is returning to Disneyland Park, according to an Instagram post from Ken Potrock.
The post showed the Disneyland Band marching down Main Street, U.S.A. in an after-hours rehearsal. While we didn’t get any video, you can almost feel the magic and energy through the photos that Potrock posted. While we don’t exactly know what it will look like for the Disneyland Band, we imagine that it will look a lot like the Main Street Philharmonic at Magic Kingdom!
The Main Street Philharmonic has been able to march down the parade route, bringing magic and music to guests without static sets. This brings whole new energy to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort and we are just so thrilled to potentially see this same idea coming to Disneyland Park.
This week has been big for the Disneyland Resort, as temperature checks and facial coverings are no longer requirements for guests visiting. Bringing back the Disneyland Band is one more step back to seeing the parks in a similar way to how they were operating before COVID-19 hit. We can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
