5 Reasons to Attend CHOC’s Drive-In Movie Night this Wednesday

On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, CHOC will be hosting a drive-in movie night. During the course of the evening, two movies will be shown, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tickets are available for one or both for those who wish to attend. However, this drive-in movie night is about more than just seeing two movies from the comfort of your own car. Here are five reasons that you should be joining us at the CHOC Drive-in Movie Night.

  1. MAKE A DIFFERENCE – This year has been a very different year in terms of supporting CHOC. Normally, thousands would come together to support CHOC for the CHOC Walk in the Park. Due to the current global climate, this is unfortunately not possible. This drive-in offers a chance to support CHOC and help the kids and their families who are benefited by the care they receive at CHOC. Financially, CHOC needs support now more than ever as this is a more challenging time than ever.
  2. A SAFE ACTIVITY – This event is a great way to get out with others but still say physically distant and safe. Everyone will get to watch safely from the comfort of their own vehicles!
  3. GREAT MOVIESThe Nightmare Before Christmas and Spider-Man: Homecoming are two great movies that will be a blast to see again on the big screen! They look so much better on the big screen.
  4. TEAM SOLIDARITY – This is a great opportunity to get your Virtual CHOC Walk team together…separately. Come to the drive-in together in your separate cars, arrive at the same time, and park together! Then get one person to take a picture, or selfie, of all the cars in your group together!
  5. CHRISTMAS SPIRIT – Christmas is all about coming together to make the world a better place. This is a positive activity for a positive cause with positive people. This is a chance to come together to make the world a little bit better!

During these uncertain times, it is more important that we support each other and support causes like CHOC that make such a huge positive impact on our community. I encourage you to take grab your tickets and join me on Wednesday night for the CHOC Drive-In event!
