Downtown Disney District to Stay Open One Extra Hour on Weekends

World of Disney - Downtown Disney District

This week, Downtown Disney District updated their weekend hours to add one extra hour! During the week, you can attend this shopping and dining district from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Starting this weekend, you can stay from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.!

The shopping district opened earlier this month to guests even though the parks have yet to open. The shops and dining establishments are following social distancing and limiting the numbers of guests inside retail buildings. While there are still some restaurants that have not opened to the public, there are many that are welcoming guests in! You can check out the full list of places to grab a bite here!

This extra hour will allow guests to dine a little bit longer or maybe even grab ice cream for dessert! This point in the day might be a little bit cooler as the summer starts to heat up. Though the parks haven’t reopened to the public since their March closure, we are enjoying getting as close to the parks as we can through Downtown Disney District!

What do you think of the extra hour on weekends? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know what you think!
