Pixar’s Onward Coming to Digital Download Tonight and Disney+ on April 3

Pixar's Onward

You can now bring the adventures of Quests of Yore home! We are in a time where everyone is strongly encouraged to stay home and Disney is helping bring the magic into homes around the world. Beginning tonight, Disney fans can purchase Disney and Pixar’s Onward before it comes to Disney+ on April 3!

This film came to theaters just a few short weeks ago on March 6 and opened to rave reviews from audiences. In this movie, we follow Ian and Barley Lightfoot, elf brothers who embark on a quest to spend one more day with their father who passed away when they were young. Along the way, we see them grow stronger together as they learn that their bond is what makes the world magic.

This comes after Disney has delayed multiple films from release, like Mulan and Black Widow. Many movie theaters are beginning to close for an indefinite amount of time in an effort to protect families and the general public.

“While we’re looking forward to audiences enjoying our films on the big screen again soon, given the current circumstances, we are pleased to release this fun, adventurous film to digital platforms early for audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their homes,” said Dan Scanlon (Director, “Onward”) and Kori Rae (Producer, “Onward”).

The digital download will be available for $19.99 at 8 p.m. EST tonight and will give you a chance to explore the bonus features and looks behind the scenes into making this fun adventure film. Disney and Pixar’s Onward will come to the Disney+ streaming service on April 3 for fans of the film to enjoy!

No matter how you watch this film, it is sure to be a fun activity for the whole family while we all stay in. Are you going to be enjoying Onward? Be sure to connect with us on Twitter and Facebook to let us know!
