Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are closed today and will be opening later than normal tomorrow. This comes with the arrival of Typhoon Hagibis (Typhoon #19) in Japan. This typhoon is forecast to. be the worst to hit Japan in six decades. The Oriental Land Company released a statement on the Tokyo Disney Resort website announcing the changes in operating hours.
This is the first time that the Oriental Land Company has closed both parks since the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. This is being done in an abundance of caution to make sure that both Guests and Cast Members are safe. For those impacted by the typhoon, there will be no handling fees to change their fixed date tickets. Updates will be shared on the Tokyo Disney Resort website around 12 on October 13th.

Due to a typhoon, Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea® operating hours for October 12 and 13, 2019 will be changed as follows:

October 12: Closed for the day
(Park operating hours before the change: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.)October 13: Scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m. (tentative)
