Cast of Disney Channel’s “Amphibia” and “Big City Greens” Come Together with Kermit the Frog for Lots of Laughs

D23 Expo is all about bringing fans closer to the content that they know and love. This weekend, we got a chance to see two Disney Channel favorites come to life and Kermit was there to help bring the fun to us! The panel held both Disney Channel’s “Amphibia” and “Big City Greens!” We got to see both shows tell their stories to a captivated audience and even gave a few sneak peeks!

The panel was hosted by Kermit the Frog from The Muppets and he introduced the entire panel. As a special gift to Kermit, the cast of Amphibia gifted the frog a special calamity box, like the one seen in the series. The only warning that came with it was simply not to touch it. Kermit simply couldn’t resist and was transported away from the panel. He was able to communicate a few times throughout the hour with special videos from where he was.

Kermit’s official job was to run a Q&A for the panel, so without him, the cast and crew had to get creative. Along the way, we got to see a peek at new shorts coming from “Big City Greens” in which their characters call up real-world people. We also got to see a mash-up script read-through that let the casts of both shows demonstrate their vocal talents. In one of our favorite moments, the casts held something of their own Animation Academy. Be sure to check out the photos of the panel below!

When Kermit finally returned, his pal Lauren Fishburne showed up to make an extra special announcement! He showed up to announce that Marvel would be joining the Disney Channel family with “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.” It was an incredibly fun end to an already memorable panel! We are so excited to share the entire hour of fun with you. Be sure to check it out below and let us know what your favorite part was!

While you’re at it, be sure to follow along with us on Twitter and join in on all the fun of D23 Expo 2019!
