Disney’s Aladdin Becomes Will Smith’s Highest Grossing Movie and He Is Thankful

Aladdin is now the highest growing film of Will Smith’s career. Smith announced it this week via Instagram. This means that Aladdin has now surpassed other movies he has done like Independence Day, Men In Black, Hitch, and Suicide Squad. In his Instagram post, Smith showed his appreciation.

“This is a post that I’m just humbled and honored to make right now….To be in this game as long as I’ve been in this game and to have my biggest movie at this point of my career, I just want to say thank you,” shared Smith in the Instagram video. He then proceeded to say thank you in multiple languages. “Just thank you, everybody, around the world, thank you, thank you. Who I miss?”

Disney’s Aladdin has now made over $875 million globally. It is a re-telling of the Disney animated feature that was released in 1992. Will Smith portrays the Genie in this movie.
