This week, guests at the Disneyland Resort were treated to an absolutely super time! Disneyland After Dark: Heroes Assemble gave guests the fun of a heroic and exciting ticketed event across Disney California Adventure Park. We took to the park on Wednesday, May 1 to see what all the fun was about and we definitely had an amazing time!
The event mix-in began at 6, which we used to get a head start on the scavenger hunt. This ended up being one of my favorite parts of the night! It was a fun mix of challenging clues with a scenic walk around the park. The hunt even challenged me in a way I didn’t think it could! I found myself scratching my head and looking to other attendees for clues.
Once the event began, we took a trip to see Iron Man in his Disneyland debut! It was so fun to see him meeting and greeting with guests. We also had fun getting to see heroes taking over the park! Everywhere you looked, there was a hero or a photo opportunity! It was definitely an event with a lot of things to do!
Exclusive to this event, there was a quest for the infinity churros. Flavored to each corresponding color, the infinity stone churros were placed all across the park. It was a quick dash to get to them before the Mad Titan could! They were a fun photo opportunity and the cast member handing off the churro usually had a fun quip to add into guests.
One of my favorite things of the night was seeing fans dressed to impress! It’s no secret that Marvel fans are passionate but getting to see the costumes and cosplays around the park was incredible.
Overall, I thought the event was a huge success! With the event being spread into two nights, it was much easier to get everything done. There was also so much to do that there were hardly any lines, I even got to walk on to a few attractions! The only long line of the night was for Iron Man and even that moved quickly!
