Walt Disney World to Get an All-New Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Nighttime Spectacular

What a time to get spooky in Walt Disney World! This year, for the first time in 14 years, the Florida park is introducing a new firework spectacular for their annual Halloween party! We are excited to share what you will see at Magic Kingdom Park if you head to the party this Fall.

Nighttime Spectacular

Mark your calendars for select nights from August 16 to November 1! The parties will encourage guests to dress up in their Halloween best to celebrate the season of candies and spirits. To help create the most fun event possible, Disney is excited to share an all-new Halloween story through fireworks. The show will use high-tech projections and lasers to tell guests about how anything can happen on Halloween! The show will take guests on a not-so-scary adventure with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. The pals will be drawn into a haunted house where they find dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains.

Of course, once you are done watching this nighttime spectacular, there is still so much to see and do! Be sure to stick around the castle to see the popular live show “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” featuring the Sanderson Sisters and Disney villains the likes of Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent.

Other returning favorites include:

  • “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” featuring favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween best, along with the Disney villains and a cavalcade of fiendishly fun floats.
  • Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam in Fantasyland is the spot for all of the young partygoers to get their groove on with favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina.
  • In Frontierland, prospector Cactus-Flower Cate rounds up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” The Promenade takes place just prior to each run of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.
  • Trick-or-treating throughout the park!

And last but not least, the parties will feature attraction enhancements just for the Halloween party! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets start at $79. To buy tickets, visit Disneyworld.com or call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 827-7350.
