The 2018 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band has begun its season at the Disneyland Resort. On Thursday June 14, this year’s band started its summer’s performances in Town Square for the Patriotic Flag Retreat. The band was led by student director Nathan Hatton, who was a member of the 2017 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band. This was the first of five daily sets for the band.
The first day of the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band for 2018 included both familiar and new music. There were some classics that have been known and loved for years by fans, and also some new fun tunes. Many of the new tunes revolved around Pixar Fest.
This year, the set times are a bit different than previous years. They are as follows:

- 6:45 pm – Sleeping Beauty Castle Set
- 7:45 pm – Royale Theatre at Fantasy Faire
- 8:40 pm – Town Square
- 9:55 pm – Town Square
The band will be playing at Disneyland Monday-Friday throughout the summer.

The program gives students the chance to perform both big band/jazz sets and also marching band sets throughout the day. They also get to work with world-renown clinicians. Through the years, many of the musicians that have been a part of the band have gone on to illustrious music careers at Disney and beyond.
