Halloween Time Returns to Disneyland Resort For More Frightful Fun Than Ever Before!

Halloween Time is returning to the Disneyland Resort on September 7th to bring frightful fun to guests that will continue through Halloween on October 31, 2018. This year, there will be 15 nights offered of Mickey’s Halloween Party for guests to enjoy. There is also a multitude of other experiences for guests to enjoy during the Halloween season. Here is a look at what will be offered at the Disneyland Resort during this frightful time of year.

Mickey’s Halloween Party

  • Mickey’s Halloween Party will be offered on 15 nights this year.
  • Trick-or-Treating throughout Disneyland for candy and/or healthy treats.
  • Unlimited downloads of Disney Photopass photos taken that night (subject to Disney’s terms of agreement).
  • Special entertainment.
  • Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular hosted by “Master of Scare-omonies,” Jack Skellington.
  • The Frightfully Fun Parade returns and is led by the Headless Horseman.
  • Take pictures and encounter favorite Disney villains in Disney Square.
  • Find Disney characters dressed in their best Halloween costumes throughout the park.
  • Guests to Mickey’s Halloween Party can enter the park three hours before the party begins to mix-in with regular park guests.
  • Annual Passholder tickets go on Sale June 5.
  • Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Visa Card holders tickets go on sale on June 5.
  • General public tickets go on sale June 12.

Disney California Adventure

  • Oogie Boogie will take over the entrance of Disney California Adventure and then continue the Nightmare Before Christmas themed entrance that continues as guests move into Buena Vista Street and see his bats atop Carthay Circle Restaurant.
  • The Headless Horseman will return to Buena Vista Street towering ten feet high with his jack-o-lantern.
  • Cars Land will again celebrate Haul-O-Ween as Disney-Pixar’s Cars celebrate this frightfully fun season.
  • Lightning McQueen, Mater, Cruz, Red and DJ will again be in car-stume as they get ready to go trunk-or-treating in Radiator Springs.
  • Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween will return for season overlays of Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark returns to take over Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! after the sun sets each night.

Disneyland

  • The Pumpkin Festival returns to Main Street with the giant Mickey Mouse jack-o’-lantern.
  • The Día de los Muertos tribute returns to Frontierland.
  • Jack Skellington will take over the Haunted Mansion and turn it to the Nightmare Before Christmas themed Haunted Mansion Holiday.
  • Space Mountain in Tomorrowland will transform into Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.

 

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is always a favorite for those visiting during this spooktacular time of year. The decorations are great for photos, the parties are a blast, and there is always some detail to be found on one of the attractions or just around the park that adds to the overall experience. Don’t forget all seasonal food that will be found throughout the Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time as well!

Note that if you do want to attend Mickey’s Halloween Party, tickets generally do sell fast. Make sure and pick them up as soon as you possibly can!
