For the first time ever in Tokyo, guests will be sent on an Easter Egg hunt! The hunt will feature eggs decorated to look like popular Disney characters, and guests who participate will receive a bunny hair clip exclusive to Tokyo! This hunt seems to mirror the tradition that has been taking place in the United States, Egg-stravaganza, but with a new take on the prizes for guests!
Coming to the Medditerannean Harbor, Mickey and Minnie will be throwing an extravagant Easter show to celebrate spring, and they’re inviting Disney friends! The show will feature exciting fireworks, colorful costumes, and the debut for the theme song to the ‘Happiest Celebration’! This means that guests won’t have to wait until April 15 to start enjoying the anniversary! Guests will also be able to find members of the Tokyo DisneySea Maritime band dressed for the occasion in delightful new costumes!
Tokyo Disney is known for food and merchandise, and guests can now find both in the park! Not only can guests find the first release of some of the 35th anniversary merchandise, but Disney’s Easter as well! Among the Easter designs are the fan-favorite Bunny Ears Headbands and Easter “Bunny” Bonnets. Also, guests can find pastel treats that fit right in with all the decorations at Café Portofino, New York Deli, Barnacle Bill’s, Sebastian’s Calypso Kitchen and Tropic Al’s.
This is simply a preview of things to come as Tokyo Disney Resort gears up to celebrate the ‘Happiest Celebration’ in honor of the 35th anniversary! Guests will be able to find all new entertainment in daytime parades, nighttime spectaculars, and new stage shows! Guests will also be able to find 35 happy Mickeys to snap a picture with and further celebrate the park!
