Car Fire at Disneyland Resort in Mickey and Friends Parking Structure

The Anaheim Police Department has confirmed that multiple cars were on fire at the Mickey and Friends parking structure at the Disneyland Resort today. The fire prompted evacuations of the structure. Five to seven people were treated for smoke inhalation. The fire was reportedly extinguished before 5:30 PM.

When all was said and done, 8 cars had major damage, with four of them being a total loss. The initial damage estimate was placed at $180,000. 7 people dealt with smoke inhalation. 4 people were transported to the hospital to be treated. The Anaheim Police Department reported that there was no foul play suspected.

Photos on social media showed the smoke billowing out of the parking structure as people speculated about what exactly was happening and how many cars were on fire.

The fire occurred shortly before 5:00 PM.
