Highlights of 2015 D23 Expo – Day Three

D23 Expo’s third day has come and gone. Sunday was a busy day as people tried to cram everything that they hadn’t experienced yet at the D23 Expo into the last few hours it was open. For many, a priority was the Disney Interactive panel. Traditionally, there has been giveaways at the end of this panel. Beyond that, it just tends to have some really geektastic content. Sunday also was the day for Frozen Fandemonium and for original members of the Mickey Mouse Club to reunite as they celebrated 60 years of the Mickey Mouse Club.

Here are some of the newsworthy things to take note of from day three of the D23 Expo:

Disney Interactive

PlayStation®4 Star Wars Bundles

November 17, 2015 fans will be able to purchase two PlayStation®4 Star Wars bundles. Star Wars: Battlefront and/or Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars PlayStation®4 Star Wars bundles will feature the image of Darth Vader on the front with a controller inspired by Vader’s suit.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition

Disney Infinity 3.0 edition will feature several new characters from Zootopia, The Good Dinosaur, and obviously some Star Wars as mentioned before. Fans visiting the Disney Interactive pavilion this weekend were able to get a custom power disk that unlocks a one-of-a-kind King Mickey costume, Keyblade Master and King of Disney Castle for Disney Infinity’s Mickey Mouse character and the classic Mickey Mouse figure. At the panel, Star Wars: The Force Awakens stars John Boyega and Daisy Ridley surprised fans and gave away their characters Finn and Rey.

Kingdom Hearts III

Disney announced that Baymax is making his way into the Kingdom Hearts series. This story will continue where Disney’s Big Hero 6 left off.

Disney Magic Kingdoms

Build your own magic kingdom with this mobile game. It will allow Disney fans to recreate some of their favorite Disney attractions. It is currently in development and should be out later this year.

Star Wars Battlefront

Experience the Battle of Jakku when Star Wars Battlefront comes to your video game console! This should be a fun way to experience a bit more of the Star Wars story leading up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Star Wars Battlefront will be available on November 17, 2015.
