Disneyland is celebrating 60 years of magic. With all the glitz and glamor, it is fun to look back and see how Disneyland has grown through the last 6 decades. The opening of the Disneyland Forever! fireworks spectacular reminds guests of how Disneyland was once a grove of orange trees that a man with a dream walked through. Once Disneyland opened in 1955, things started appearing that were excited for guests at the time as a new way to experience Walt Disney’s magic. Now, those things have become artifacts that Disney fans are still quite excited about but for a completely different reason. What were once a part of daily life at Disneyland, are now treasures.
Recent, DAPs Magic had the opportunity to interview Justin Arthur from the Walt Disney Archives. During this interview, he shared a through treasures from the vaults of the Archives. Join Mr. DAPs and Justin Arthur as they take a quick journey through history of the happiest place on Earth!
