In “Not What You Think,” a special Star Wars Rebels short, Ezra finds a downed TIE fighter on the plains of Lothal. The young rebel opens the ship’s hatch — pretending to help the ungrateful Imperial pilot — and leaves with a few souvenirs.
Scheduled to premiere in October 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel, Star Wars Rebels will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.

So what do you think?
I feel like a broken record but the more I see the more I like! I sincerely hope that we aren’t showing only the best parts of Star Wars Rebels in these clips and what we are being shown now is a good indication of the show we are about to get. I’m liking the feel that they are creating for this shows. It is much more in line with the original Star Wars trilogy but from a different perspective. Because of this, it has the advantage of feeling right and also appealing to the nostalgia factor while adding completely new stories. The music is fantastic. It is a wonderfully connected with John Williams’ original scores and also adds to the connection with the original trilogy. The other thing these promo videos are doing is bringing up interesting questions that will be answered hopefully. Some of these have been answered before but now this show will create official answers. I’m most excited about seeing the evolution from the Republic at the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith to the Empire as we see it in Star Wars IV: A New Hope. There will also be the creation and evolution of the Rebellion during this time. My expectations are that these questions will be answered. I am also guessing that I will end up liking this even more than I liked Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Yea, I know… that’s putting myself way out on a limb but… I like the promos for this even better than I liked what I saw when Clone Wars was being unveiled.
So what do you think? How excited are you about this show? Do you think my enthusiasm is misplaced or is it going to be THAT good? Would you want to see a weekly episode review of this show from Geeks Corner? Let us know in the comments below!
Make it a GREAT day!
