Marvel Comics News June 15 – June 21 2015

Happy Father’s Day, and a shout out to my dad who first got me into comics with issues of Green Lantern, Captain America, and Sensational Spider-Man when I was just a little kid.  Great job, dad!

This week had a short amount of news bits for Marvel Comics, but a couple of really big announcements.  One was the renewal of Marvel and Comixology, an Amazon owned app entity that is connected to a lot of the comics companies.  They are basically the technology behind digital comics.  Marvel being available on there and Amazon again is a great thing.  The other big announcement we’ll get to in a moment.  Two other items this week consist of a couple more Secret Wars issues covering Spider Island and Siege.  The big announcement this week?  A follow-up to the Figment series!  This is huge news for me being both a Marvel and Disney fan, and especially of Figment!  The series proved so popular that both sides wanted to do another series.  More Figment!  More Dreamfinder!  More of what we all love!
