Disneyland has unveiled its two newest nighttime spectacular shows for the first time to guests. After a welcome by Chairman and CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, an evening of nighttime magic began. The event showcased Paint the Night, the newest nighttime parade at the Disneyland Resort, and also Disneyland Forever, a beautiful new immersive fireworks spectacular.
Paint the Night
Paint the Night is a new modern day electrical parade. With literally millions of lights, it glows its way down the parade route. The music is energetic and fun with a few hints of the original Main Street Electrical Parade woven in. There are quite a few different Disney and Pixar friends in this parade and it is sure to become a family nighttime favorite. An added perk for this show is that anywhere is a good place to watch it so find a place and enjoy!
Disneyland Forever
Disneyland Forever lights up the skies and pretty much everything else above and around Disneyland. It takes fireworks shows to a whole new level as it adds immersive elements that tell the story wherever a guest happens to be viewing from. Main Street there is one way to watch the show. The Hub, yet another. Go over to it’s a small world and there is more to see. Oh, and then there is the Rivers of America. There is a unique viewing experience there as well. This pyrotechnic display has wonderful music and showcases Disney and Pixar friends from across the board, some that haven’t been seen in a big show in quite some time. There were definitely some cheers for favorite characters and segments throughout the presentation. After the show is over, the beautiful Richard Sherman melody, A Kiss Goodnight, creates a beautiful feel to wind down to as the day draws to a close. This fireworks show is destined to be a favorite as well as guests get to experience it in different ways from different areas of Disneyland.
With three new nighttime shows coming to the Disneyland Resort as it celebrates 60 years of magic, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure is definitely going to be the place to be at night. Which show are you most looking forward to?
