Once Upon a Time Returns for Season 3 on Sunday

Once Upon a Time is going into a much different direction this season. Things will not be what they have been and the inhabitants will be facing new adventures and challenges as they struggle to go and save Henry in Neverland.

Season 3 of Once Upon a Time will have the main characters going on a question to Neverland. This quest will cause them to ask a lot of questions about themselves and viewers will get to see a lot of character development this season. Repeatedly in interviews with different members of the cast and crews, it has been mentioned that a great deal of effort will be spent on “peeling back the onion” of these characters.

Here is a look at some of the promo clips that have been released for season 3 of Once Upon a Time:

Once Upon a Time Season 3 will premiere on Sunday at 8/7c on ABC.

So what do you think?

I’m personally very curious to see how they really develop Neverland, the main cast of characters, and of course Peter Pan. The little glimpses of him that have been given to date have definitely piqued my interest. He is definitely different than any other rendition of Peter Pan I’ve seen before. It also seems that the way they are building Neverland will really be conducive as a plot device for digging into each character. For me, there are few things better in television than a well developed, completely believable, character. It adds such a wonderful layer of depth to the character and show. I’m hoping that Season 3 of Once Upon a Time will add that layer of depth as they peel away the layers of the onion on each character.

Do you think that Once Upon a Time is heading in the right direction? Or has it lost direction and is now sailing on hype? Will you be watching the premiere episode? I personally am interested in seeing where they take these characters and how they keep things new and innovative. Every time I think they have reached the end of the innovation rope, the show has surprised me. I don’t know if I will actually watch it live on Sunday night but I will be catching it on Hulu at some point!

Make it a GREAT day!
