Hey there. I'm Mr. Daps. And I'm Johnny 5. Johnny 5. Yeah. Where' you five? Why did you come
0:24
up with Johnny 5? In October 2010, [music] two geeks sat down. And then they
0:31
started really awkwardly a show. They didn't know back then if they'd
0:38
reached to [music] episode 10. Yet now you know there's been hundreds with more to go. [music] This is 800,
0:47
not 84. Going [music] where no geeks have gone
0:52
before. We hope you like us. And if you don't,
0:58
we're at 800. It's not a joke.
1:07
As things continued to grow, they didn't really know the temporary [music] name
1:13
would stick around. What started as a joke became a constant
1:20
show. Peak's Corner keeps moving forward and still grows.
1:26
This is 800, [music] not 84. going where no geeks have gone [music]
1:33
before. We hope you like us. And if you don't,
1:38
[music] we're 8800. It's not a joke.
1:48
As years have gone by now, we've interviewed [music] some cows with puppet songs, food segments, and some
1:55
bows. With more ideas to honor, more magical mark of [music] horror. We'll keep on
2:03
geeking out in the corner. This is 800,
2:09
not 84. [music] Going where no geeks have gone before.
2:15
[music] We hope you like us. And if you don't,
2:20
[music] we're at 800. It's not a joke.
2:25
This is 800, not 84. Going where no geeks [music] have gone
2:33
before. We hope you like us. And if you don't,
2:39
we're at 800. [music] It's not a joke.
2:44
We're at 800 and it isn't a joke. [music] Happy 800, Geeks Corner.
2:56
Welcome to Geeks Corner. I'm Mr. Daps. I'm Katie. And did you know that on October 5th,
3:01
2010, the very first episode of Geeks Corner was filmed? And this week's
3:06
episode marks 800 consecutive weekly episodes ever since then.
3:12
I actually did know that one. You did know that. Wouldn't you believe it? And this is my 501st.
3:18
It's like I'm a Stormtrooper. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Who would have [laughter] guessed? Oh, no. All right. Well, uh,
3:25
what should people do, Katie? Uh, you should join the chat with us right here. Uh, we have a special
3:30
section for comments at the end. Uh, share your favorite memory from 800 episodes. This is crazy to think 800
3:37
weeks of this. Um, subscribe wherever you are watching. Um, and uh, join us at
3:44
Dapsmagic HQ for a little after show, little afterparty if you will, for 800.
3:51
So, let's ask you the same question. Of 800 episodes, what's the one that stands
3:56
out or the moment that stands out or any of that? Obviously, my first episode is always going to stand out. Um,
4:02
can't go wrong with coffee. I I got to do a coffee tasting uh for Mr. apps. And as he will frequently be
4:10
the one to tell you, he uh asked me at Chalkwalk, which was like a week or two
4:15
weeks before, and I very excitedly said yes because I wanted to do this so badly. Um and then I showed up and you
4:22
went, "Oh my god, it's your birthday cuz you had no idea." Um so my first episode
4:29
of Geeks Corner was actually my 19th birthday, which is pretty pretty crazy
4:34
stuff. Um, so that's for sure up there. There you go. Uh, you are not dumb,
4:40
Grand Calstan. The wall is a different color. Everything was taken down last week and we redid the entire studio for
4:46
the 800th episode and it'll stay that way moving forward. We uh have something we like a little bit better and uh and
4:54
we will keep it this way and hopefully things keep working and improving. Uh,
4:59
you can't go wrong with Conversation with the Muppets. Hurricane was ridiculous. Yeah,
5:04
that was definitely memorable. I'm trying to think of of my most memorable
5:10
um uh challenge. Skittles with gravy. That
5:16
one that one's definitely up there. Orgot Skittles, too. Uh he had the clam
5:21
juice. Clam juice. Yeah, that one was pretty ridiculous, too, now that you mention it. Um that that was that was that's
5:29
that's a good one. It was the way we all went, haha, we got you clam juice for your birthday. It's so silly. And then he just cracked it
5:35
open and drank it and all of us went, "Oh, you weren't supposed to do that." Yeah, that one shocked us. Um I'm thinking the first Dapsies
5:42
as I'm thinking through this. Like that one was a lot of fun. Um it's actually a blue with a a blue
5:50
and pink light that's lighting up the um
5:56
the window or the windows, the uh the artwork in some of the walls. So it makes it look a little bit more purple,
6:01
but it's just blue. It's It's a dark I don't even know. It's It's navy blue. [laughter]
6:07
I would say it's indigo. Sure. Whatever you want to call it. Uh yeah. So, that one's jumping out in my
6:13
head. Uh the Johnny Five in charge of Thanksgiving
6:18
was fantastic. I think the birthday cake that Murray did probably ranks up there
6:24
as well. Uh Easter that that Easter where we uh we did all
6:29
the things you could do with your peeps. The pickle saga. Pickle saga. Fantastic. Uh
6:35
we really need to make pickles again. Uh tip your cow episode was really fun. That was, you know, you never know when
6:42
you take Egon to the fair what's going to happen. Um but this is Geek's Corner made it to
6:47
the final product, right? Because we still say that a lot. We're still working on it.
6:54
Wait, what do you But this is Geeks But this is Geeks. Yes, that one too. Yes, that one. We
7:00
quote that that definitely I mean frequently. Yeah. How could you how could you forget that?
7:06
Um yeah, a lot of fun things and [sighs] more fun things to come. One of the most
7:12
fun things comes in just a week, which means we have another reason to talk
7:17
about Muppets. Thanks, Daddy. Thank you, Mr. Daddy. Thanks, man.
7:23
So, we have a new trailer. Well, it's the only full trailer for The Muppet Show ahead of its release on Disney Plus
7:31
and ABC on February 4th. And um what did
7:37
you think of this trailer, Katie? I So, first of all, I I love Muppets
7:44
ABC. I love just Muppets things. So, I know for some people that's not like pure Muppets. So, I was just like, I'm
7:51
expecting just a fun time. I I just want to see the Muppets do stuff. And then I sat down and I watched the trailer and I
7:56
went, "Oh my god, this feels so Muppet Show." Like, "This is the closest I truly
8:04
believe that we have come since the Disney acquisition." Mhm. [clears throat] Like, I mean, from what we can tell so far
8:09
from from this trailer, what we're seeing is like it's Kermit
8:15
being Kermit. It's, and this sounds silly to say, but like letting some of
8:22
the more adult humor come in, letting the uh meta jokes of like, "Did you
8:28
think I was a a sappy montage? We're doing a show, frog." Like, so good. And
8:35
all of it. I also really love the audience. Like, I feel like there's going to be more celebrity came. I I feel like I really wanted to hit
8:42
pause, but each time I also haven't wanted to stop it. Oh, yeah. because I was like, there has to be more than Maya Rudolph in there.
8:47
Like, I'm almost positive we're gonna see a lot more. Um, Statler and Waldorf also
8:53
just phenomenal. Um, everything about it feels right and I'm so excited to see
8:58
the finished product. I would love, speaking of cameos, if they did like ultimate cameo where it's
9:06
literally like Patrick Stewart just walking by in the background, like no acknowledgement, he's not a part of the
9:11
act at all. like maybe standing in the shadows somewhere, you know, like literally some really random.
9:17
Yeah. Completely out of the blue cameos like that. Um, I agree with you. It feels
9:22
like the old Muppet Show. It's interesting because they meant they spent the entire budget and effort to
9:29
create a movie that was them making a Muppet Show. And this what Elver an hour
9:37
special feels more like the Muppet Show than the movie that made about making the Muppet Show. and um
9:42
only 15 years later, you know, and I was happy with that. Did I think it was the best thing that's
9:47
ever come out? No. But I was happy with it. And um this I feel like we're going
9:54
to be even happier with. Um I am I am curious because I saw in the comments,
9:59
what celebrity guest would you also like to see? presuming we all watch this
10:04
1,200 times and it gets the So the thing with Disney Plus is it's the amount of
10:09
minutes that you watch it versus the like, oh, I started it and watched for
10:16
30 seconds. Like you got to watch the whole thing to the end of the credits, start over, watch the whole thing to the end of the credits because they add up
10:23
the minutes. I love you guys. We're not having watch parties for the first like two weeks of this, okay? We are all individually
10:29
watching this on our Disney Plus accounts in the comfort of our own homes. We're getting to enjoy it over
10:36
and over and over. Then we are having watch parties together. Okay. When it first comes out, I need everybody. What
10:44
are you a man or are you a pet? Uh, every single person needs to be just
10:51
locking in on this. Okay. Focus. Focus. Uh Seth Rogan does have a cameo and he is in uh I think both
10:58
trailer the teaser and the trailer, right? Yes. Um and I'm hoping that's not the only C. Like I hope there's a little bit more.
11:05
So um we will see like it's going to be fascinating. All right, so back to the
11:10
question. Yeah. Celebrity or not cameos, celebrity guest. Uh I'd really love Martin Short.
11:18
Steve Martin's done. I want all three of them to do it. I I would also like to see the entire I feel like you could have all three of
11:24
them come out and and except Miss Piggy is gonna kick Steve Martin because she remembers him as
11:30
their server. And there is I think there is like a I don't know if it's written or unwritten
11:35
rule, but you can't be a celebrity host more than once on the Muppet Show. Oh, there's no five-timers club,
11:42
right? [laughter] I mean, maybe that's different now. But, uh I don't know.
11:48
I don't know either. I just think it'd be really fun. Martin Short would be fantastic. See Martin Short. I think that'd be a
11:53
lot of fun. Um I'm trying to obviously I'm always going to say Brett Goldstein.
12:00
I always want to see Brett Goldstein with Muppets. And that would be a dream come true for so many people. Shrinking season 3 comes out tomorrow.
12:06
So, like I wouldn't mind seeing Harrison Ford now that you mentioned that cuz I feel like
12:12
he would kind of do the Michael Kane thing where he would just take it seriously and he's like he's not playing any games
12:19
and he's just going for it and that'd be fantastic. Which a third Muppets connection if we're going to talk about shrinking who
12:25
leads that show? Jason Seagull. Jason Seagull 2011 Muppets.
12:31
So if you're in a movie with the Muppets that's not technically guest starring. So, well, technically
12:36
cuz he wasn't on the Muppet Show. No, because that Muppet show didn't have a celebrity guest to save the studio. It
12:42
just was Kermit and the gang putting on They tried very hard. Um, yeah, it'll be
12:48
interesting to see. Yeah. Um, I'm trying to think of anybody else that would be Rowan and Miss Piggy would be a lot of
12:54
fun. That would work very well. Um, I feel like the obvious one that they
13:02
would have to go somewhere else, but I could see them coming back to is like a Miley Cyrus. Yeah.
13:07
Like that that's almost no-brainer. Um,
13:12
forel. Oh, I like that idea. I also hope Bruno Mars. Yeah. Like I I kind of hope we the old
13:20
original Muppet show, there was a lot of current music in it. Oh, yeah. and not Muppet originals.
13:26
Like, yes, there wasn't a Muppet original thrown in here and there, but I have no problem if they're throwing in,
13:33
you know, Taylor Swift and I mean, obviously, whoever. Like, I did that for you, but the records show he said Taylor Swift.
13:40
Yeah, they did kind of have Jack Black as the celebrity guest. Yeah, I guess.
13:45
Kind of guess kind of um Paul McCartney would be great.
13:51
Oh, are you kidding me? Like, it'd be fantastic. Um, we do a Paul McCartney, then we do a
13:57
Ringo Star, Trixie Mattel, and Miss Piggy would absolutely be bonkers. And I
14:06
would love to see that. Just they But they would have to go, in my opinion, if
14:11
Trixie Mattel went on the Muppet Show with Miss Piggy, they have to go to the
14:16
Trixie Motel, which is in Palm Desert. Like, it's not that far. But it takes place in the theater. Yeah,
14:23
they could do a segment on the road. That's changing the show though. They should go to the Trixie Motel. It's
14:29
all pink. Okay, Miss Piggy would love it. There you go. There you go. Sir Ian Mckllen would be fantastic. Honestly
14:36
though, I would like That brings up uh Paul Rudd cuz I went Sir Ian Mckllen
14:44
MCU cuz Doomsday coming out later this year. Uh you could do Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr. would be fantastic. Like I
14:51
think you could pull from Scarlett Johansson would be great. Paul Red basically is a Muppet and I think that's why I'd really like to see
14:57
that. But I I think the Walt Disney Company has so many celebrities to pull from and
15:02
who wouldn't want to be on the Muppet Show. So what I really like the idea of is it's like um I'm going through the list
15:08
of Disney legends in my head and what I would really love is if we like pulled really random Disney legends. Like what
15:13
if Martha Blanding was She'd be fantastic. I know. She's the most charming woman. She is. [laughter] And I think that she
15:20
would be absolutely delightful with the Muppets. That's why I'm like, give me that. I would personally love to see
15:27
like the really like, oh yeah, we have the Disney Legends of Stage Screen Music, but what if
15:35
So, I'm running with this Paul McCartney idea because I do see the chat here. The song would be Paul McCartney Electric
15:41
Mayhem Birthday. They would have so much fun. Like that
15:46
would just go crazy. It would be a blast. Um,
15:53
okay. So, they did leave the theater. Crazy how I remember that. That's crazy. That's crazy. So, I'm
15:59
Right. Thank you. Um, Dick Van Djk, I 100% agree with because I think that'd be insane. Also, um, Yie, I'm so sorry
16:07
it took me so long to say this. Tony Award winner Darren Chris would love to see. There you go. I mean, yes, he was in a Muppet movie,
16:13
but not not a but not he was not the Muppet Show. All right. He didn't have that big of a part in Muppets on a Ranch Show.
16:19
We have lots more ideas. We will be talking about this in the coming weeks, specifically in two weeks for sure.
16:25
We'll be doing a recap of the Muppet Show, talking about what we loved, what we want more of, all of that. Hopefully,
16:31
you will be there. Don't be late cuz it will be the first thing we talk about. I can guarantee might [laughter] be the only thing. It
16:38
might be it might be the entire it's it's like it's uh we could call it the Muppet Show because it will be about the
16:45
Muppet Show. Uh Pedro Pascal, another great call. Tom, [laughter]
16:50
Tom Cruz and having a stunt competition. Amazing. All right, keep throwing those in. We're going to come back to them at
16:56
the end of the show during comments. Um it will be a blast. But right now, we have something else special to show you
17:01
because we did go to Disneyland After Dark, Sweetheart's night the other night where we met this lovely lady.
17:09
Well, hello there. Pleasure to meet you. How are we doing this evening?
17:16
Cutting a rug. I know it stopped raining. Well, I'm not sugar. I wouldn't melt in the rain anyway.
17:21
You never know. You never know. Take a few pictures of you. Well, of course. Should I go talk to the
17:27
moon? No problem. I'll be at the beautiful place.
17:35
I'll I'll be around. Bye you guys.
17:48
You have any princess to shout out to? Right next to me.
17:53
No. Not doing this for free. Oh, for your I'm sorry.
17:59
Look at that finger. It's so cool. It needs something. Very shiny, I think.
18:05
Oh, baby. And we got family jewels. You can have one of mine.
18:11
[music] Thank you so much. Of course. You have a love. My pleasure. I like being my kid.
18:18
[laughter] Pleasure. Have the best night. She's so cute. It it was very fun
18:25
meeting Lahi and and that was just one of several fun things they had throughout the night. They had a new Once Upon a Dreams show where Aurora was
18:33
singing I Know You right in front of the castle. It was amazing. Um and there was
18:39
a Cavalcade which it turns out they have a rainy version and a non-rainy version
18:45
basically the same other than what they're wearing and using as props which is very fun. Um very they did a great
18:52
job with this. Uh, but I think Lahi probably was like Lahi and Once Upon a
18:58
Dream because it was a bunch of Disney songs with like a quartet and then they had all the the the royal
19:03
couples come out at the end. It was cute. I'm not just saying that she's a highlight because she's new.
19:09
Like I'm not getting the shiny whatever of like, ooh, something new. Um, I was
19:16
completely enamored with Lahie the moment she said, "Yes, it stopped raining, but it's okay. I'm not sugar. I
19:21
wouldn't melt." I was like, "Oh my god, you're you're from the South." Brilliant. Yes. Oh my god. Like you [snorts]
19:28
Oh my god. My god. And she's so cute. And everybody she was asking if they had
19:34
a bow for her cuz you know her hand. She needed something to put there.
19:40
Um and she kept saying, you know, Tiana's man catching beignes. Um I'm obsessed with her. I want her in
19:49
Bayou country all the time. Yeah, it was great. Uh, also I think Country Bears were a highlight as I'm thinking through
19:55
the night. Yeah, they were absolutely fantastic. They did like mix things up a little bit so the characters were a
20:01
little bit more I don't want to say confined, but more centralized because you did have
20:07
was it three couples? Four couples in front of the castle with Aurora. Yes. four um as part of the Once Upon a
20:15
Dream show, but then after that they were there for a good 20 something minutes, so you could go by and get pictures and
20:21
wave and whatever. And um and I thought it was a good way to show show off like rather than having, you
20:27
know, Beauty here that you waited an hour for, you got to see a show, you walked by, it was great. It was kind of
20:33
a mix of things they've learned from uh social distancing, I guess you could
20:38
say, and then also just the popularity of these vocal groups at these events.
20:43
Like those always seem to be a highlight. And uh I thought it was I thought it was great. Did a good job. Also think having uh Cinderella and
20:50
Prince Charming roam fantasy land. Very cute, genius, brilliant. Like yeah, it's not her castle, I guess.
20:58
But uh watching Cinderella literally just walk around like I also loved I
21:05
think about Sweethearts Night I really loved the mix of here's the characters you can get in line for which was not a lot
21:11
not a ton it was more just characters you could interact with also here are the characters that are going to be roaming and they don't
21:17
really have a dedicated line like Lahi like Cinderella um and that really to me helps capture
21:24
the magic of Disneyland that much more like I think the Only ones they had lines for was Oswald and Ortansia.
21:32
Uh Snow White and Dopey and Dopey and Belle and Belle.
21:38
Bell and Beast. Where were they? Oh, yeah. That's right. And then and then they also had a line for the Country Bears, but you know, all of the lines
21:46
because of the way they had everything else happening really didn't get that long. Like the longest lines are for
21:52
photo ops. Yeah. And and I I prefer it that way. Like I think it was a great way to do it. Maybe Beauty and the Beast had a long line,
21:58
too. But, um, but everything else like moved along pretty smoothly. It was great. I don't know if that was because
22:03
rain chased people away cuz it was raining right up until before the party started, but um, the rest of the night
22:10
was great. Another thing that came this week to the Disneyland Resort is Lunar
22:15
New Year, and that has arrived. And uh we were at the parks on sat Friday,
22:22
whatever day it was, Friday and Sunday, trying out and experiencing all the Lunar New Year offerings. We will have a
22:28
video with our review of a some of the foods that we used to sip and saver pass to get through. But uh quickly, what was
22:37
your favorite part of the year of the horse celebration so far at Lunar New Year? Oh,
22:43
I mean vocal soul. Vocal soul. Yeah. I really love Vocal Soul. So good. And then like a close second, Red Panda
22:50
Bay. Also very good. She's so cute. And then I would say Mulan's Lunar Procession because Chip and Dale are
22:56
amazing this year. Oh my god, their [snorts] costumes are so cute. Fantastic. And the food was good. Like I was delicious.
23:02
Like I think it was a step up from last year. I think always this is one of the best
23:07
uh food offering festivals. Um there's a a great diversity. There's so many
23:13
different options. There's kind of something for everybody. Um, and so the food is always a home run for me.
23:18
All right, easy. We were going to talk more about that, but I think everybody really just wants
23:23
to play
23:34
Lunar New Year. Not so magical markup. The way this works is I'm going to show something with the price that it was in
23:40
the park when we saw it. Everybody's gonna guess what the not the not so magical markup is. And whatever I found
23:48
on eBay first is the answer. We do prices right rules. So if you go over,
23:53
you are out basically. And whoever is closest to the not so magical markup
23:58
gets a point. So are you ready, Katie? Yeah. I've lost like the last eight times. So
24:04
I feel like I feel like Mikey's been really good at this. Uh we will see. All right. The first thing we have is a
24:11
lovely Lucky Foods t-shirt. It's the traditional Lucky Foods t-shirt for Lunar New Year. It is $36.99
24:19
in the park if you were to go and get it today. Katie, I have to ask the question, how
24:25
much do you think it's marked up? 49. $49. And we will see what people in the chat
24:31
say. Otherwise, this could be the way you win. If nobody in the chat says anything, no, cuz that that would
24:37
knowing me, I'd go over. Oh, I mean that's possible. And then Price's right rules. I would just lose. That is very possible.
24:43
So, uh, Katie was the only one playing and she still lost.
24:48
I mean, that would be a little bit funny. It is also funny this time is I do not remember any of the prices. So,
24:54
all right. Mikey really like said 47.50. You said what? I said 49. 49. Okay. So, we got a $150 there. We
25:02
got 40 from Roger Rabbit. And Bailey says 501 playing prices right smartly.
25:09
Uh, I like that. And uh, all right. $75 from Mitch and uh, $65 from Yong Lao.
25:22
Okay. Are we ready? I don't know if this is going to work. This is going to I'm doing it different technology is
25:28
what I'm saying. All right. So 36. Oh, and 5050. I like that. That's a real price. [laughter]
25:35
Sorry, Bailey. And the actual eBay price is Oh, $49 there, too. The actual eBay
25:42
price is $53.95. I go to Y. So, Y has one point on the board.
25:49
[laughter] Well done, Etsy. You You played You prayed vicious, but uh it worked for you. All right, next one.
25:56
We have these these cute little Mickey ears. The bow does come off so they can become Mickey if you'd prefer. And uh
26:03
they are $34.99 if you were to go over to Disney California Adventure or the Disneyland
26:09
Resort and purchase one today. It is it is fun to note though that the the bow does come off so you can just have
26:15
Mickey or Minnie ears depending on the back of them is also very cute. Yeah, they're they're great. And um
26:21
Katie, what do you think the not so magical markup for these could be? 44
26:28
$44. I try and get my answer in before I even see your guys's um comments start
26:34
popping up because I panic that I'm going to be influenced by like what you're saying. Wouldn't it be fun someday if I could
26:40
have like one of those long tall mics like like Bob Barker or whatever. Spaying new to your pets.
26:46
Yeah, there we go. All right. Bailey says 7501. Cassie says 6550.
26:51
And Mikey says 555. Uh, I see $70 there. I see 7050.
27:00
Okay. And 4203 and 55 and 46.99.
27:06
Oh, $46.99. Oh, yeah. That snuck in right there at the same time. Mr. Mr. Grand Cal Stanley. All right. And then
27:12
8125. 8125. All right. This is getting uh competitive now. [laughter] All right.
27:18
And the actual eBay price is 52.90. I
27:24
feel like somebody was really close on that. I feel like somebody was really close on that, too. There's 55
27:30
7050 4203 46.99. That might be it. 46.99
27:36
Grand Cal Stan. It looks like you have won round two.
27:42
All right, the next one. My favorite.
27:49
You've loved this. The Lunar New Year little cup. It's a ceramic cup, so it would break probably fairly easily, but it's $19.99 if you
27:56
were to go and get one in the park. Uh, you can get those at Seaside Souvenirs
28:02
or at the Lunar New Year stand, which is right outside of the entrance of the
28:07
Little Mermaid Ariel's Undersea Adventure. Katie, how much do you think this is going for?
28:13
$28. $28? You don't have a high opinion of this one. I see how this is at.
28:18
That's literally the same. I just said $10 above the last. Uh DVR1 sticking with $19.99.
28:25
We've got 50 up there. We've got $29.99, $25, 3475, and $25.49.
28:34
Oh boy. Oh, and here comes some more. $33.99 and uh $27.
28:40
I like that I'm having to like just zip down because we got so many people playing. This is great. And 3051. All
28:47
right, we will see what I was like, give it 15 more seconds. 15 more seconds indeed.
28:53
You really liked this 33 uh because it is like a tea.
28:59
Yeah, it would be good for It'd be good for tea or Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's what 3450. All right. This is getting
29:06
Oh, boy. [laughter] This is cutthroat. You guys are so rough. All right. And the actual eBay price is
29:13
$35.99. And I see 3450. Did you do it again, Etsy?
29:19
Oh my gosh. Uh 33 3475. Wait. Oh, so Mikey's making This is what he
29:26
did last time. Oh, that's so Yeah. So Mikey's Mikey's coming in for the kill, I think. [laughter]
29:33
All right, so we have two more. So we got to knock out the the tie. We got a three-way tie going. So um
29:40
it's anybody's game, guys. We're bothering Indiana so bad. All right, the next one is the Loungefly
29:45
bag and coin purse. It is $75 if you buy it in the park. It has lots of details
29:52
on it. Is very high high quality, I guess you could say. Um, very cute. Also, I predict this will be sold uh
30:00
pretty handily, handsomely, whatever it is. Katie, how much do you think it's going
30:06
for online? 115. 115. [laughter] Chris says, "I don't have a
30:12
chance. I'm not trying. Okay. I don't have a chance either, but I don't You never You never know.
30:18
104.99 from Chris. You could You could make the comeback and win right now, Chris. You
30:23
just never know. Imagine it. It's Stranger Things have happened. I feel like that's how Mikey won. Uh 9260.
30:29
Is that what I see? I see 90. I see 89 85 90. I was looking. I see 99. I see 92
30:37
60. 200. 12247. This is impressive. I really like the exact like we're we're
30:44
really uh 125517.99.
30:49
So, let me know in the chat. I'm thinking the next time we play this, we're going to make an addendum to the
30:55
rule. It's 130 and 75 for our last guesses. If you nail it to the penny,
31:01
so like if you hit it exactly right on, it's two points next time. I'm not going
31:06
to change the rules Midame, but I think the next time we play this game, that would be that would be the way to play
31:13
it because then it'll help if we get ties. That'd be pretty crazy. Okay. And you know, with guesses like
31:18
this, who knows what could happen. All right. The actual eBay price is $17.
31:25
Okay. So, $100.
31:31
$104.99. Chris is you thought you didn't have a chance in
31:36
that chance. [laughter] It is going to come down to the final
31:44
thing which probably I would expect Grand Cal Stan to get
31:51
this because it is a spirit jersey. He just called you out.
31:56
It is $84.99 in the parks. It's a beautiful spirit jersey. It's They did a very nice job with it. Um, I do like the
32:02
jersey next to it, too, which I didn't include in this, like a sports jersey. Yeah. I was like, that looked comfortable on a hot day. But how much
32:10
do you think the markup, the not so magical markup for a Spirit jersey would be?
32:17
I'm going to say $102. $102. Let's see what the the good folks at
32:24
home think. $12. 1025.
32:29
[laughter] The problem is I know the lag is so bad that I know that was just coincidence.
32:35
He was already on it. Uh [laughter] 107 105
32:41
uh 97 10250 uh
32:47
105 Oh, we do need background music. Good call. 90 805 115 80 110 107
32:57
10757 This is getting like this is Oh my gosh. I'm scared of you guys.
33:02
[laughter] Yeah, this is like legit. 150. Uh did we say 100? Yeah, we said
33:08
10751. Wow. 150. All right, we ready for the
33:13
actual retail or eBay price? This is not prices, right? The actual eBay price is
33:21
109. Is it is Is it Mr. No. Uh Bailey's there.
33:27
Might be Bailey. Bailey. 1057 107
33:33
I think. Yeah. 120 10250. Yeah. 10751.
33:40
Bailey got it. Does that mean Bailey won? No. That fiveway tie.
33:45
Fiveway [laughter] tie. I need to have a tiebreaker. Um, yes, we need a tie. We We We need a
33:52
tiebreaker for the tiebreaker. No. How much is this? [laughter] How much is that doggy in the window?
33:58
All right. Uh, we are running out of time. That's amazing. But before [laughter] we do that, we do need to do
34:05
what we promised, and that is uh we need to go and talk about some comments.
34:17
comments. Comments. All right, that was a lot of fun and
34:22
this always is too. We will go back through and catch any comments that we just missed. If you'd like to add more,
34:28
let us know right now and we will respond to those. Uh I love the thought
34:33
of um set it all free and still haven't found what I'm looking for with Scarlet
34:38
and Bono. That would be a blast fiveway tie. That's probably never going to
34:44
happen ever again. That was so good. Um, that's insanity.
34:51
Uh, [laughter] Mickey and Minnie do look fantastic on that cup. Completely agree. Um,
35:00
we have a lot of comments tonight. There we go. There's something special how every character from that movie has been a smash hit. Isn't it true? The Princess
35:07
and the Frog characters are ridiculously uh popular. And uh you do get to see
35:12
Shadowman at OogieOogie Bash, right? Uh yeah, at least in the parade.
35:18
No, he was there this year, too. They had him for the tour, but then they were like he was coming out randomly also.
35:25
Um I remember we got a picture of him and we posted it as an article. Uh we
35:30
got that one. Grou Poppin any puppeted Star Wars. I love
35:36
Amy Sedaris. Amy Sedaris would be amazing. Amy Sedaris is basically a mopet.
35:41
Mhm. Okay. And then we did the Pedro Pass. So like, let Amy Sedaris be
35:47
um I think we're all winners. Um that's a it's a really funny reference. I'll
35:54
explain it to you someday. Um yeah, I think Amy Sedaris and Grou
35:59
should be on the Muppet Show. Um, we don't generally go up to Walt's Barn just because Sunday is the day at the
36:05
park. Yeah, we could look at who's the closest and uh someday I will probably go up there and it'll be a blast. But
36:11
I've never been. I have not either. It's It's always been one of those things I'm like, "Someday
36:16
I'll do it." And it's still someday I'll do it. The other thing about us is I think that we are unfortunately
36:22
stereotypical Orange County, Orange Countyers in the fact that we go
36:28
LA so far. It's fair. Uh you you never know. Mhm.
36:37
Yeah, that is true. All right, we are running out of time. Katie, what should people do? Uh well, you should keep the
36:43
conversation going over at the DAPS HQ. patreon.com/dapsmagic. We do have a post show to this show
36:49
called Daps After Dark. It is super fun and tonight it's like an afterparty. So
36:55
get your name on the list for the afterparty. Go to Daps HQ. Um [laughter] be the bouncer like name on the list. Uh
37:02
you should also go to dapsmagic.com. Check out all the Disney and positive stuff as it happens. Um and you can also
37:09
subscribe to our mailing list from there. So do it. Don't miss out. That is right. And make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel. We
37:14
have a ton of videos going up still from Lunar New Year, still from Disneyland After Dark and soon Peanuts Fest and
37:20
also a chalk event that I will be attending this weekend. You won't want to miss any of them. And we have a bunch
37:25
of other stuff that I've already got scheduled for next week that you won't want to miss either. But that is all the time we have for you this week. Thank
37:31
you for being around for 800 episodes so far. Especially you, Bailey, who's been around since the beginning. He might be
37:38
the only one on tonight that can say that other than me. Yeah. But that is all the time we have
37:43
for you this week. We will see you around the corner. Bye.
