Kelsie Whitmore, the pitcher for the Savannah Bananas, also happens to be the first overall pick in the inaugural Women’s Pro Baseball League draft in 2025. Baseball has been a lifelong passion for her. In this interview, she shares how she grew up playing baseball all over and eventually got to play it professionally. She also shares that getting to play at Disneyland was a “blessing.” “It’s interesting cuz I used to come here and ride rides and come here with my friends and to watch the show. Now I’m here as the show, which is crazy to think about, but it’s all really cool,” she said.
