Welcome to Geeks Corner. I'm Mr. Daps. I'm Katie. And did you know that the swamp that Kermit the Frog sings Rainbow
0:28
Connection in is actually the lagoon from Gilligans Island? I did not know that. I think that's a really good one.
0:34
That's That is a really good one. What should people do, Katie? Uh you should go uh and subscribe to where we are right here right now.
0:40
YouTube.comsmagic. If you're not already subscribed, kind of weird that you're here. Anyway, uh do
0:46
that and then you should go to patreon.com/apsmagic. you're gonna want to subscribe now. So,
0:52
we have a post show for this show called Daps After Dark. Um, she's gonna try and host it
0:57
probably. Um, this is Tiana. And also, you should go into the chat uh and say your piece, give us your
1:05
opinions, give us your thoughts for a very special or even your questions, a very special segment we have at the
1:11
end called comments comments. But the segment we're going to do right now is all about the Muppets.
1:16
Thanks, Daddy. Mr. Daps. Thank you, Mr. Daddy. Thanks, man. Daddy, Mr. Thank you, Mr. De. Thanks, man.
1:22
It has been a very long time. We've been waiting for this day for many weeks. In
1:28
fact, we had to wait even longer because it was kind of announced on Friday and then it wasn't announced till Monday. I
1:34
But but don't get me started. Boba the Bear
1:41
after however many weeks, months, not years, but a very long time has finally
1:46
been It has been over a year though. picked as the Muppet of the Week and uh he
1:52
joins this other plethora of Muppets that have been How many muppets are we at now?
1:58
I don't know. Okay, I should really count at some point, but I haven't done that yet. But Boba the Bear finally made it. We're very happy
2:06
about this. Who do we think Katie is going to be next week?
2:12
I don't Who's on this? This makes it very hard. Who's on the shirt?
2:17
Kermit, Fuzzy, Dr. Teeth, um, Animal, Bunson Beaker. Bunson and Beaker. And Gonzo.
2:23
Oh, I'm just gonna say Gonzo. There you go. Gonzo. Yeah. I mean, people in the chat are seeming to like uh 57.
2:31
So, we have uh 57. What does that mean? Uh, 12 more. 13 more. Something like that.
2:38
Uh, 13 more.
2:43
Mhm. I can't do math. It's actually very unfair to ask me to do. Anyway, we've we've got we're getting
2:49
close to the end. Um, so you're thinking Gonzo. I'm thinking Gonzo. Okay.
2:55
Also, yes, the big bear muppet um
3:02
is named Bobo the bear. He was the
3:09
producer of Muppets ABC. I can't remember. I don't actually remember for
3:14
that, but he's generally the good guy villain.
3:20
Yeah. Assistant that's like, I don't actually know why I'm doing this and I just pick my friends poorly.
3:25
He's like, I don't think that's a good idea. I'm like, you're going to do it. And he goes,
3:30
um, I'm going to go with Gloria Stefan. Of course you are. If Gloria Stefan gets
3:36
picked the week that you Actually, you know, you know what? I'm going to go even further. Can I do two? Sure. Gloria Stefan or Eugene because
3:44
Eugene is such a far out there idea. I don't think it will happen. Like I would
3:50
be shocked if we got Eugene throughout the course of this. I really loved when
3:57
um so your car you name after your cars are you named after Muppets. Um it is it is a DAP's thing. Yes, there
4:03
is uh it's a penguin named Gloria Gastafon. We need to make you watch Muppets ABC.
4:09
It is my absolute favorite. Anyway, keep going with your thing. When we would tell people that your car was named Eugene,
4:14
nobody would know. And we would say it's a Muppet reference. They'd be like, "Huh?" So, I really hope that Eugene
4:21
makes it into uh the new Rock and Roller Coaster. Like, that would be an amazing thing.
4:26
Didn't we already get members of the Penguin Orchestra or was that Did I make that up?
4:32
I might be that in regards to what? Yes, there of the week.
4:37
Oh, yeah. We have just not Eugene. Okay. Yeah, it was the conductor. Okay. Um, don't care. Uh, I mean, I do a
4:43
little bit, but not as much as if it was Eugene. Uh, so that wasn't the only Muppet topic of the week, though. We
4:50
also learned that there's a new Muppet Show coming for one episode. Shouldn't make it too
4:56
exciting. It's a special. It's a special. It's one episode, whatever you want to call it, for the 50th anniversary of the Muppet Show. And
5:02
it is being produced by none other than Seth Rogan. Rogan.
5:07
And the special guest host will be none other than
5:12
Sabrina Carpenter. There you go. And what do you think of this? Um,
5:18
yes, Nikki Napoleon. Thank you. That's what it was. It's It definitely feels like a backdoor pilot in my humble
5:24
opinion because this But what do you think about the show on its own? Like let's we'll get into that later. So, I'm excited about it. I think that
5:31
Sabrina Carpenter has the right um gravitas and also the right reputation
5:38
if we're going to go for like original Muppet Show type. Um I hope that Disney is daring enough
5:44
to do an original. Like that's my only concern. My concern is yeah, it's too safe. It might be too safe. And
5:51
but Seth Rogan gives me hope that they're going to push the boundaries because if you look at the people that are involved with this, there's a lot of
5:58
talent that does a lot of really good stuff. Yeah. I just I just worry that Disney
6:04
really, when you look over the 50-year history, has sanitized Muppets a lot.
6:10
Um they've always they've never ne
6:15
necessarily been like oriented towards like children per se. It's more been like
6:20
well they've tried to keep it family friendly and they're like they're like even when they're pushing the
6:27
envelope of Muppets it's been like well we're still going to keep it rated PG and it's familyfriendly but there's some
6:33
wink wink nudge nudges. And I and I honestly think the Muppets are kind of like the Simpsons where you have to push
6:40
that boundary and the kids aren't going to get it but the adults will and that's what you need. Like if you can find that
6:46
balance then you've hit a home run and if they can pull that off next year then this is a back door pilot and then you
6:51
could see more things coming. If they can't it'll be very disappointing. You know what nailed the tone really
6:57
well? Do you do what? Muppets ABC kind of
7:03
no Muppets ABC the only issue with Muppets ABC is that they didn't nail 100% the character archetypes that they
7:09
were supposed to be fulfilling. So like Kermit wasn't 100% Kermit. Fozzy wasn't 100% Fuzzy, but
7:15
and the story was not very good until the end, but yes. And yeah, making Denise was a mistake,
7:20
but towards the end of the season, yes. Um,
7:26
it's a really funny show, but even then, not as much as I want. Like, I want it to be pushed because if you look at what the original
7:32
Muppet Show did, it was definitely like my grandma would not have been
7:37
happy. I feel like she might have been because she might not have understood things and just been like, "Oh, that's fun. They're puppets."
7:44
But um you never you never know. All right. Well, it is an exciting time
7:49
at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort and soon Disneyland Paris and already Elani. And I'll just stop
7:55
there, but the new ambassadors for the Disneyland Resort were announced this
8:01
week and uh we had the opportunity to be there and it was awesome.
8:06
Mh. And uh what do you think about this milestone happening at the Disneylanders
8:12
Art? So what I think is very funny is that the 60 is because this is the 60th
8:17
anniversary of the Disneyland Ambassador. Correct. But well program. Yeah.
8:22
Um yes. Uh but it's very funny after
8:28
celebrate happy and everything we've had to see the ambassadors in front of a giant 60.
8:33
Oh yeah. Yeah. Um, I am very happy for the ambassadors. Um,
8:40
one, Ro and Jada have done an incredible job as the ambassadors. Um, but two,
8:46
the ambassador process is extremely difficult. Like, you're you're not going
8:51
through one or two interviews. You are going through Tiana, you're being a nightmare. Um,
8:57
Tiana would never make it as a Disneyland ambassador, but like you're going through a lot of hard work and
9:04
media training and all of those things. And so, um, I'm always very excited for
9:11
the new set of ambassadors. And I'm always like a little bit anxious for them as well. Um, not that I don't think they can do it, just that I recognize
9:19
you don't know what's going to happen on your 2-year ambassadorship. Um, sometimes you have a general idea like
9:25
Galaxy's Edge or the 70th or what have you, but like I feel like things are
9:30
going to throw you I I don't know that Rol and Jada knew that they were going to be touring the country with a hot air balloon,
9:36
but there's always something. Yeah. But I I think it's super super cool and I'm really excited for them. So
9:43
yeah, and I think it's fun. We've been covering this story for honestly probably decades now and it was fun
9:49
talking to some of the people that were also covering it and then also people working it and just talking about the
9:54
different ways they've celebrated new ambassadors through the years whether it was in front of the castle or in the
9:59
opera house or now in Fantasy Land Theater. It was fun to see um this milestone
10:05
pivot forward and uh Michelle and Aurelia, congratulations. And um it'll
10:11
be fun to see where you go in the next two years and what you know, will that be a new Coco ride? Will that be a new
10:17
Avatar? I don't know. I I would kind of doubt like that's pretty fast, but who's to say? There's always something new happening.
10:23
So, it'll be fun to see what happens um during their term that officially starts
10:28
on uh January 1st. We also learned this week, mainly today,
10:34
that they're going to do movie nights at Downtown Disney District. I love this on the stage or in that area. And uh
10:41
Hocus Pocus is the first movie night and it's going to continue on Wednesday nights through
10:47
Halloween time. What other movies do you think they should do? Uh dude,
10:53
she's a she's being a nightmare. Um anywh who, sorry, she wanted to see you
11:00
guys better. There you go. Um, for Halloween or in general? Well, for this run. So, you've got
11:05
Wednesdays during Halloween time. So, I'm guessing they'll be Halloween. So, Wednesdays during Halloween time, so obviously Nightmare Before Christmas.
11:11
Yes, that would make sense. Um, I would love to see Mr. Boogy.
11:17
I think children I think actually children would be Well, you have to do Mr. Boogy and then um
11:22
the sequel. What is it? Return to Boogy or something. Something like that. Or Mrs. Boogy. I don't know.
11:27
Twitches and Twitches 2 would be a great choice. Um, what about some of the some of the decom
11:34
ones? Like Twitches and Twitches too. I haven't seen that one. Uh, Halloween Town. Is it Halloween
11:40
Town? Halloween Town. If I was to pick a Halloween decom, I'm picking The Phantom
11:46
at the Megaplex. Oh, yeah. I forgot about that one. It's a good I think it's one of the best decoms. Um,
11:53
I wouldn't mind. I don't know how they would package it, but it would be fun to see um the Headless Horsemen.
12:01
Oh, yeah. But that's usually with Wind and the Willows. And I'm like, hm. But they did have the old Disney Channel
12:07
where it was like the trickor treat Halloween special thing where they had some of the shorts and then um
12:16
and then uh they would do um Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Um, I love the idea of
12:23
the spooky pirate movie, also known as Blackbeard's Ghost. I would be shocked
12:28
because nobody's gonna know what it is. Like, I would be less shocked if they
12:34
were like, "Oh, let's throw the Descendants out there or let's do zombies." Like, like I feel like those
12:40
could all go before they would pick. I don't know. We can hope. It'd be great,
12:46
right? I think it'll be great. Yeah. Um, I There's also gonna be candy. you can get
12:51
from uh wonderful world suites. What I love about this
12:58
is that it feels a lot like um when you're walking around a Disneyland or a Disneyland a Disney hotel and there's
13:05
movie nights and there's this fun energy. I actually very vividly remember the night before Galaxy's Edge opened
13:11
and we were staying at the then Pixar or uh Paradise Pier Hotel. we were at the
13:17
sandbar and they were playing the Little Mermaid and that's just like such a Disney magic thing.
13:24
Um, and so I love this. I think it's pure magic. I also think it's a great way for families that may not be in the
13:30
parks, like if they have multiple days and they only have certain days in the parks or Don't you think it's also a good way to
13:36
get locals in? Yeah. It's like, oh, let's get them to go in and eat at Parkside Market or
13:42
Tinfong or, you know, like there's like I feel like it's a good pulling in for the locals. Also, uh, moving over to
13:49
Walt Disney World because we do have a lot to cover tonight. We have new candlelight processional narrators this
13:55
year and quite a few of them. And normally we wouldn't bring this up because we don't really cover uh Florida's Candlelight quite as much, but
14:02
this year there are so many new ones that I felt like we should bring them up. And the the theme tonight is kind of
14:08
new things. So, Constant Woo, new one. Jennifer Garner, new one.
14:15
Uh Leslie Ugams, new Henry Winkler, new Lauren Dagel, new, which she's going
14:21
to be a huge draw, I feel like. Um Joel David Smallbone, also a huge draw. New Brie Larson, uh he's King Country.
14:30
No, Lauren Dagel. Oh, she's a huge Christian singer. Oh, okay. Okay. And and I think she also
14:35
does pop stuff too. Um Brie Larson. Yeah. New for Florida, not for Candlelight.
14:41
Like and it would be really interesting to interview her after and be like, "Which one do you like better?" Like, yeah, honestly, be honest.
14:47
And then Shirley Ralph. I love Ralph. Who do you notice that's not on the list this year?
14:52
Neil Patrick Harris. Why do you think that is? I don't know. Because he's on Broadway. Oh,
14:59
yes. I feel like that has to be addressed just because like Um, everybody wants to see Neil Patrick
15:05
Harris every year. So, my first two that I was like, "Oh, they aren't on the list." It's Neil Patrick Harris.
15:11
Mhm. And Marley Matlin. I think she was on the list. Marley Matlin. She's on the list. Where?
15:17
Right there. Oh, I didn't see her. Yeah. Well, sorry, Marley. Uh, she's December 11th through 13th.
15:23
I love Marley Matlin. That's my like I really want to see her do. So, is that the one of all the list? So,
15:29
we've got Constant Woo, Constants Woo, Jordan Fischer, Jennifer Garden, Ashley Axne, uh Ralph Machio, Leslie Algams,
15:37
Marley Matlin, Henry Winkler, Lauren Dagel, Gary Sinise, Brendan Frasier,
15:43
Luis Fonza, Joel David Snowbone, Small Bone, Brie Larson, and Cheryl Lee Ralph.
15:48
Of all of those, who would you like to see the most? Marley Matlin. Marley. Mhm. I don't know. I think Ashley would be fun, too.
15:54
I think Ashley would be fun as Actually, you know who I really want to see now that I'm looking at the list closer?
15:59
Henry Winkler. Henry Winkler. Yeah, he'd be fun. I feel like that would be the most fun night. Double feature. Uh Marley Matlin on the
16:06
13th, Henry Winkler on the 14th. Yeah. So, you go midmon and then you can hit both of them. Yeah. And you do the uh dining plan both
16:13
nights. So then you can guarantee a spot. I just want Cheryl Lee Ralph to almost understand who she's referencing
16:19
all the time. That's an avid elementary reference. It's fine. I'll show you. You'll you'll get it. There you go. All right, this is very
16:27
exciting. Okay, we have a new trailer. Yeah, it's very exciting. Well, it's the first trailer, I think,
16:32
for The Mandalorian and Grou. Um, I will admit at Destination D23, I did see a
16:38
clip of The Mandalorian and Grou, and it encompassed part of this trailer. But
16:45
what did you think of this trailer? I wish there was a picture of my face when I finished watching the trailer.
16:53
Why would that be, Katy? For a second, I thought you were about to be like, "Guess what?" I was like, "Whoa." Uh, jaw on the floor. It's also
17:02
very hard to blow me away with Star Wars stuff. I'm literally like, "Okay, sure.
17:08
We've seen it before." Um, I love The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian season 1 is
17:14
my favorite Star Wars, like period. I think it's so fun. I think it
17:20
nails the spaghetti western fact of it all. Um, this trailer, I'm going to feel
17:26
like Stefan from SNL. This trailer has everything. Um, it's got Babu Freak
17:32
guys. I don't know what they're actually called. I'm so sorry. It's got uh Grou doing cute stuff. It's got Mando
17:40
blasting stuff. Um, it's like literally it feels like Mando
17:48
season one cuz Mando season 2 and three I think they kind of got away from us. Especially Mando season 3. I think that
17:54
was really Do you think I we'll get into that? I think that really got away from us. So this feels like Spaghetti Western
18:02
adventure of this dad and his baby are going to go across the galaxy and like
18:08
shoot him up. Like I Oh my god, I'm so excited for Space Cowboys.
18:14
I'm so excited. I love them. And I love when he goes, "Oh, what is Babu Freak?"
18:19
Babu freak guy. He goes, "Come on, baby." Something like that. Yeah.
18:25
So, I loved that. I felt even from the logo at the
18:30
end, like the whole thing, it's like, "Hey, we are trying to make a
18:37
show that kids will enjoy." Yeah. And that's what Star Wars has always been. Like you hear regularly George
18:43
Lucas is like, I'm making a boy for or a movie for 12-year-old boys. Yeah. And this looks like a movie for
18:49
12-year-old boys. And um and we're going to love it, too. U the dog's name is is
18:55
I almost said Ginger. It's Tiana. Wow. This is Tiana. But um the movie is It looks like it's
19:03
going to be a fun action. doesn't take itself too seriously movie.
19:09
Like yes, I'm sure there will be consequences if they fail at their mission or whatever.
19:15
Of course, there's always consequences at Star Wars. I don't know that it's the same level of like I think one of the faults of some
19:22
of the Marvel movies is if you don't succeed, the entire galaxy will be
19:28
destroyed. And I don't know that that has that level of of consequence. And um
19:35
I also think also Marvel does the same thing and a lot of Star Wars does it too
19:40
is you have to have read four books, watched nine movies, watched four TV
19:47
shows, and I loved the Mando season 1. The Mando Mando season 1 and Acolyte to
19:52
that credit is because you really didn't need to know a lot. Well, and uh um the one with the kids.
19:58
Yeah. Skeleton Crew. Skeleton Crew. Yeah. Um yeah. Yeah. No, I feel like this is also just a like you
20:03
can probably show up on opening night having never seen Star Wars before and it'll be a good entrylevel Yeah. Star
20:10
Wars film. And hopefully like I hope they do more of that because I do think there is a
20:15
fatigue that comes with having to do homework and and you hear quite frequently the whole like, oh well
20:21
there's superhero fatigue. Clearly there's not because look at how well Superman did. And um I do think there is
20:28
a homework fatigue of like, oh, I don't want to have to know A, B, C, and D
20:33
before I see E. Like, I just want to come in and see said movie and enjoy it and not have my brain be tired at the
20:41
end of it. Which also means for people that like things like this, don't make other
20:47
people feel bad when they don't know things. No, I I think that's totally fair because I think I think there's a
20:52
way and they did that very well in the first 10 years of Marvel Cinematic
20:58
Universe is you can have standalone movies that people can know backtories for and
21:04
then everybody wins. It's when you suddenly feel like you have to have the
21:09
backstory for everything else to work or you're missing out something. That's when it doesn't work. And this looks
21:15
like it's going to be one of those things where you can just go in, you can enjoy, and um hopefully have a good
21:20
ride. Like I'm I'm looking forward to seeing this on the big screen. And I don't like going to the big screen very often. So I'm so excited.
21:26
I think that says a lot. Um what I'm looking forward to seeing on the small screen is prep and landing.
21:33
The snow the snowball protocol protocol. That's what it is. And and they they put a teaser out today. It gives you a little bit of a
21:41
glimpse at what's going to happen. And I'm sure this will be a quick, you know, half hour program or whatever as well.
21:46
Um, I love Prep and Landing. I think they're just these fun little quick like
21:52
there's nothing too deep about them. They're just kind of fun little like spy action Santa movies. And not even
21:59
movies, specials. That's what that's what they are. Um, and uh, it's been
22:04
quite some time since we've had one of these. I think like a decade. Uh, you have not seen any of these. What did you
22:11
think of this trailer that was like 30 seconds long? I think it looks fun. It's cute. It's kitschy. It's um like it looks like just
22:19
a fun time. Um my brain is not Christmas yet. My brain is Halloween.
22:25
Yeah, it did feel. Yeah. And that's I am not against you Christmas people, okay? Like I I love
22:30
Christmas. I think Christmas is very magical. In my head, I was just like, whoa. Okay, Christmas. Okay. Okay. Reset
22:37
my brain. On the flip side, I just did a ton of interviews on Christmas and I'm already writing about Christmas. Like I
22:44
recognize that Disney's already like gearing up for like, "Hey, come to Disney for Christmas." So,
22:49
like I had a little bit of a There you go. Not quite. Anyway, uh I think it's
22:56
What are you looking at? I think it's super cute. Um I look forward to watching this and maybe I will watch the
23:01
others. I think you should watch the others first and then work up to this one. Um, just in case, speaking of back,
23:08
speaking of homework, maybe it maybe it builds on each other. I don't think it'll matter. My big question with this though is Jingle Bell
23:15
Jingle Bam at Disney Jollywood Nights pulls from Prep and Landing.
23:21
That's my only exposure. Will it get updated because of this? Like I would assume so, but on the flip
23:27
side, because it's only for Disney Jollywood Nights, maybe not because I feel like you would have already
23:32
announced that they'd updated it to sell more tickets to Jollywood Nights or you'd put it for a regular night thing.
23:38
Um, I'm very curious to see like I would like to see it updated.
23:43
Yeah. But on the flip side, I'm like maybe they won't because that fireworks show does feel it feels a little dated years old.
23:50
Yeah. They should show them all in a loop in the DCA Philhar Magic Theater, which I reject you calling it that. That
23:55
is the Muppet Vision Theater. Thank you so much. Um during Christmas time, I think that would be delightful.
24:00
There you go. There you go. Okay. All right. The final new thing for tonight,
24:07
you about five minutes to talk about this. Okay. Is there are new mazes. Yeah. And not scary farm. And we experienced
24:13
not scary farm the other night. There's always a new hanging. We don't need to talk about that. Um
24:18
they did update the um whatever it's called carnival de
24:24
uh carnival drot grotesque wait mag which magnafi anyway that one uh that one was updated as well
24:32
actually was very I thought it was the best iteration we've seen of that um liked the story a lot but not new like these these things
24:38
weren't new what was new were the two new mazes that uh came to the park for this year's
24:44
not scary farm um one of them is Mary one of them zoo. Um, let's go with Mary first. What did
24:51
you think of Mary? I think the best way to sum up Mary is you said, "So, what's the plot of the
24:56
maze?" And I went, "Uh, I don't know." So, here's the funny thing. I have
25:02
talked to other people about this, too. They all have the same response. Nobody knows what the story is. And
25:08
like, I watched the video and I watched the preview of like the announcement where they told me what the
25:14
story was. And nobody knows what the story is. No, like it's
25:20
Go ahead. It's a fun concept. It's Bloody Mary, so there's a lot of mirrors in the maze. There's a lot of really fun scares that
25:26
are really inventive. Essentially, it is supposed to be a member of Sarah Marshall's coven,
25:33
which is a nice connection, is um killed in a like area. And then on
25:40
top of it, they build the Worth Home, which is a like boarding home type thing. So, you walk you are walking
25:46
through the house and the house is haunted by this spirit of somebody from Sarah Marshall's coven.
25:52
That is not apparent to me in the maze. I thought the maze was fun. Also, it
25:58
wasn't working when I went through, but I thought there was really fun scares. There was this like really fun part
26:03
where you like walked underneath a bed that was like 10 ft in the air, and I was like, "Whoa, that's super cool." Um,
26:09
you also get to see me. Everybody made fun of me um in in our friend group because in the video there's obviously a
26:16
lot of mirrors and I just walk through mazes with my hands in my pockets. Um I think I I don't get jumpy. Um not that
26:24
I'm super jumpy at these things anyway, but uh they were like, "Wow, okay, you're just a chill guy. Just chill
26:29
nonchalant guy." And I was like, "I'm not trying to be chill or nonchalant." Um but there's also this other weird
26:35
thing where it's like they're asking me to be like silent. They're like, "Don't say her name." And I'm like, what? But
26:42
apparently if you do say her name, fun things happen. I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, I thought it was good. It
26:48
was no wax works, though. And the second one was the zoo. Yes, the zoo was great. I love the concept for this other than I
26:56
wish it had um like laser tag guns. Yeah, I I think that would be fun. Um
27:05
the concept is is the government basically took animals and humans and tried to make hybrids out of them
27:10
soldiers for super soldiers. Yes. Didn't work. Obviously things went a foul and now there's this horrible thing
27:18
happening. Yes. All right. Keep going. So there's like you walk through different like there's the aven area,
27:23
there's like the um uh underwater stuff. Uh what have you.
27:29
Really crazy usage of fog. Um, I almost tapped out because of the fog. Um, I
27:36
also think there's some really cool textile effects that when the lights do turn out 11, which I was too chicken to
27:42
do, the lights turn out at 11. You do have to use your phone flashlight to like navigate. Um,
27:49
what? I didn't realize it was your phone flashlight. I was like, "Oh, they give you flashlights." No, that's even better.
27:54
Yeah, it's your phone flashlight. Okay, that's cool. Um, I do think it'd be very ooky spooky. I will say with this maze, I didn't get
28:01
it in video because I like to follow rules and I wasn't sure if I could or not. There are a lot of buttons that you
28:08
should push. If you were familiar with wax works, there was a lot of buttons you could push that were interactive.
28:14
You should do that in the zoo as well. Um, I liked the zoo a lot. I know Chris
28:19
and I actually specifically talked about it. There were parts that kind of felt like homages to other mazes.
28:25
Specifically, the one that I said was um Nevermore, which was like
28:30
15 years ago. Um like Nevermore was the Edgar Allen Poe, so Ravens and such.
28:38
Um I really liked this. I thought the story was very clear. I thought the exterior
28:44
was incredible. Um I thought, uh
28:49
everything was at 100% on this. Like you I don't think you would even have to be
28:54
like, "Oh, this is the maze we're going to go do." I think somebody would figure it out between the videos in the queue
29:02
and the uh maze itself. So, it just stands alone. It's solid. I think so. Yeah. Uh was that your favorite one of
29:08
the night? Uh yeah. Yeah, cuz I did I did four. You
29:14
could have, we could have easily done all of them, but um I did Mesmer, I did Grimmoire, and then I did Mary, and I
29:21
did the zoo. There you go. All right. Well, it is that time of the night that if you'd like us to answer any questions or
29:26
respond to any comments, it is time for
29:34
comments. Comments. That still makes me smile. All right. If
29:40
you have any comments or questions you'd like us to respond to, throw them in the chat. We will do just that. Glad to see
29:46
that Saturday was scarier and darker for Mary, but still confusing. Um, that is
29:52
okay. It is okay. Yeah. Um, it is fun. Like, not scary farm is a Southern California classic
29:58
that I feel like you need to go to at least once per year. And, um, that's just kind of Halloween. Like it's it's
30:04
not scary farm for one kind of scary and then you go to like Oogie Boogie or whatever for like your kind of Mickey
30:11
Mouse Disney. Um I did hear eight fingers nine got a lot better this year and I heard Widows
30:17
got a lot better this year. Um somebody was saying it is the blessing of the second year at Scary Farm for these
30:22
mazes. There you go. Um has the DAPs team ever tuned into Dancing with the Stars? I've seen it before.
30:29
Um my mom who may or may not still be watching. Hi, mom. Um, she was confused
30:35
that the set moved around, but my mom was very religiously watching Dancing with the Stars for the first like 15
30:41
seasons until Tom Berseron went away. Fair. That was that was a disappointment. That was the line in the sand.
30:48
I was much more aware of what was going on with them until he was gone and then I was like, I don't really care. Um, I
30:53
do like what they're doing this year though um with the Is it uh Bendy and
30:59
Robert? Uh, well, Robert Irwin's on it. Yeah, I thought Bendy was also.
31:04
Bendy was on it a different year. Oh, different year. Anyway, um I I was Hi, Mom. I like what's going on specifically with
31:11
Robert. Um, his dance last week was amazing. He I haven't seen what happened. He attacked it from week one.
31:18
Yeah. And there's people I don't think this is cheating, mind you. Um, there are people that literally
31:24
are on this season that majored in dance in college. I don't think it's cheating because ballroom dance is a totally
31:30
different ball game. That's That's fair. But um I still think he was showing up
31:35
even better than the people that were like dancers. So I I think it's just cuz he's Oh,
31:41
he's doing all the crazy stuff with animals and has to be fit. So like he's already got
31:46
some stuff going on. The thing about the Irwins is that they all have like this zest for life and they just go all in for everything.
31:52
Yeah. If they're going to do something, they're going to do it. So, I respect I think it's exciting to see what he did and I'll be curious to see how he does
31:59
um moving forward. I'm a Jenna Affleck person. Listen, I it
32:06
does I have I've heard a lot that it feels like OG Dance with the Stars. I am rooting for Jen mainly because
32:14
Whitney kind of drives me insane. I do think though I watched her first week
32:20
dance. Incredible. Beautiful. I just think that um
32:27
I think that her costume had her feet too much. Um Bill Nye was a professional
32:32
swing dancer. I think don't you think it comes down to though? It doesn't matter what your past was. It's like oh are you a celebrity or
32:41
a star? Most people were not trained in foxtrot or tango or whatever. I just didn't
32:48
know. I'm sorry. The the gag of that comment to me was that Bill Nye was a professional swing dancer.
32:55
He looks like he could be likely place for him to be.
33:01
I could see it. Um, also Bailey and Yy, the question goes back to you, Whitney or Jen
33:08
Affleck. So, these are from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. They're both on
33:13
the show. Good for them. Yeah, good for them. The the drama of all of this,
33:18
they don't like each other. No, no, no, no. Is that it's kind of like two sides of the friend group. So,
33:24
some of the friends have been like, "Oh my god, I'm here to support Whitney." But they are not there to support Jen. And that's kind of shady. That's not
33:30
very nice. Anyway, um Andy Richtor winning this
33:36
adorable. Yes. I I think that's a fantastic Oh, yay. I'm a sacrifice
33:44
uh in Seattle. That fully tracks. The whole thing tracks. That fully tracks. I'm a gen girl
33:51
begrudgingly. Damn. Her commercial with Benoflack for the Duncan for the Duncan.
33:57
It's really good. There you go. Anyway, she incorrect to educate you so
34:02
much. She incorrectly claimed that her husband was a relative of Ben Affleck because their last name is Affleck.
34:09
Turns out that was not true. Um, but they did do a commercial.
34:15
I mean that's that's I don't know what that's she calls herself the budget Affleck in the Dunkin Donuts commercial. It's very
34:21
good. I mean not wrong. Uh we have not watched this week's only
34:28
murders yet. We are talking about it though. Last week's tonight on Daps
34:33
After Dark. I will say um love Beanie Feldstein.
34:40
I think she's great. I think she's a star. It's true.
34:46
I also love to see um Sam I'm Jen. Wow.
34:51
Mhm. The three of us all have taste. There you go. Um I also love to see Selena Gomez grow in
34:58
her acting abilities. It's fun to watch all of them just evolve as co-performers. I think that
35:04
they as a comedic trio, they continue to hit their stride. Like they just get
35:10
better every single year. Yep. All right. Well, we are running out of time. What should people do, Katie?
