We hoped to be filming on this. This did not work. No

we will try and figure that out for another great for regular filming. Yes

we're very impressed with it so far but it didn't work so far

Such is life. It happens, it happens, it does happen. Uh Anyway

what should people do? Ok. She's going to the chat and you should tell us uh what

what did you say, what Disney movie should be an attraction but has not gotten an attraction yet

And I saw Mary Poppins already, which is a fantastic idea. Remember when that was supposed to get an attraction

Yes, but I want a full attraction. I think like a cherry tree lane proper attraction would be phenomenal

Yeah, like full on like you're going through the story. I think a dark ride

Like not just me. Yeah, I think dark rides, you can always use more of even modern

like modern dark, dark rides work really well, whether it's Radio Springs racers or

um, uh, rise the resistance is a great one. Uh, Blackbeard's Ghost is a great deer idea

Boat neck is a fantastic idea. I'm all on board with that. In fact

boat neck could go at Tokyo Disney Sea because they're right next to the ocean

Anyway. So you could just do, do like a little bridge over that

that street that goes around the outside of Disney Sea and then you could have the boat next attraction

Apple Dumpling Game. Anyway, go into the chat, which you are great idea

Put in what your ideas are. What would be yours that hasn't been used yet

You know what I'm going to say, it's going to be a Meet The Robinsons uh screen attraction

All Lost star tours or whatever and you are going to be going back in time

um, and doing all the time travel things and helping. Yeah. You know

the one that surprises me that hasn't happened along that one ditch

No, but that's, that's a good idea too. Um What about Aladdin

Like there's, I guess there's like carpets that go around the circles, but like a full on Aladdin attraction would be amazing

What are you thinking of dark? Right. Yeah, you're on, you're on magic carpets for real

But think Aladdin meets rise of the resistance like that kind of

I think those kind of things would work really well. I see it

Yeah, I think, I think it could be. I mean, it's, the little mermaid could get one little mermaid beating the beast was amazing

Like the Lion King technically has shows and that's technical. An attraction

Lion King is getting an attraction. That's true. It's getting its splash into Disneyland Paris attraction thing

Um Rescuers. We Great Mouse Detective. Those are all very great call outs

What would you do from a very recent movie? Like just out of curiosity, recent frozen

Is that the most recent film to get a Moana? Oh yeah

I got, I got walk through attraction. Yeah. No, Ino is getting that

I was like, that's the one I was like, no, Ko just came out and in Kanto is already getting an attraction

Um I'm trying to think of a recent movie. What are some recent Disney movies

Like you kind of hit the, you kind of hit the main ones because um Strange World probably shouldn't get an attraction

Um Maybe here's go with me here. Um Spielberg, you know

he always does that. Well, he doesn't always, but he did the very best tangled alien like abduction

story. If you've ever seen the movie I'm talking about um Close Encounters a third time if you didn't know what I was referencing but

walk with me. Disney has its own version of that. Mars needs moms

Oh my gosh, maybe not. I see that one coming. Um Chicken L that one's for itsy chicken

Little could be funny. Ok. Yeah. All right. Well, we're gonna keep moving on because we got a lot of ground to cover tonight

But, uh, Disneyland, this week walls have come down on the main gate except for one section where the new turnstiles are coming

And I'm very excited about this because I think it's gonna make the experience so much nicer for everybody going to the happiest place on

earth because you're just gonna go through it in one line and, and you just go in like it'll be great

What do you think? I it's very hard for me to ever visit other Disney Parks and then come back to Disneyland and go through

our main entrance because it is outdated. It is not the fastest in the world

And so, and it is too easy to clunk your camera against. It really is like it's a very

if you're carrying a bag or a camera or whatever, like it's very inconvenient in that regard too

And then meanwhile, at Walt Disney World, you literally stand in your boot and you walk

So I think anything that makes that better is a good thing. And I think it just looks open

It looks nice. I like what they've done with the tree, three trees

This is, there's like four of them. This is um I think it looks great

I'm super excited about it. Um I wish that this project could be done faster

I understand. I understand why it can't. Um, but yeah, that's that good

I like it too. Uh, that's not the only place walls came down though, however, walls came down in bayou country currently

Still critter country. But I think we're starting to use the new name or something or

I don't know, like we're already using Bayou Country. It feels like we're going to the new place

even though I think it's technically still critter country till November 15th

It is. But the trash lines already say bayou country as does the sign on the building

Like there's a few. Anyway, we've gotten our first up close. Look at Disneyland's version of Tian's Bayou Adventure

What do you think of this attraction and the queue and the exit and everything that was revealed today

It looks great. I think it looks really, really nice. And I think

oh, I have a spicy take. I think this is way more visually appealing than Splash Mountain was the word in my humble opinion

I just think this is fun. I think it's bright. I think it's exciting

It's very happy. Like the whole thing feels very happy. And I was thinking there's one part where I think the cue is supposed to

be like you walking through a garden or something. It reminded me very much of Rabbit's garden just across the way for Winnie the pooh

And I was like, oh, this whole style kind of works and that has been

I think a big question like, well, what about Winnie the Pooh? And it's kind of become this happy animal Critter bayou

whatever. I am really excited to see. Um What is the official name

The Le le Critter Club? I'm excited to see how that ties in with Pooh Corner

Um because Pooh Corner is staying, it is currently open, it is there

Um, and the Lewis Critter Club is going to be in the back half kind of where the uh mile long bar and um

all of that work once upon a time. And yeah, I'm, I'm just super excited and I really hope that they put the air conditioning

on, on that side of the building again because when we walked through last year

roughly before it closed, it was warm. Totally understand it was very warm

It was super toasty. So, but I'm excited to see how those two complement each other and tie together

Um It's talking animals and I agree with Glowy. I hope we get the second uh mailbox in by country that's very important

Like mailboxes should go everywhere. And I think there should be more postcards too because postcards are ridiculously hard to find when you're at the

Disney Parks. Like it's not like the old days where you could walk up literally anywhere

And you're like, oh postcards, here you go. Now. It's, it's like, oh, where are the postcards

I think they have them over you know, it's, it's gotten way more challenging

You have the people that are like postcard, postcards. What are I'm like

yeah, a postcard, you write it on it, you send them, you know

all that stuff. Uh All right. So Tiano's Bayou Adventure opens on March or November 15th on October 21st

Magic key holders will get a preview and there's gonna be multiple days leading up to the official opening where parts

of the day magic key holders will be able to get virtual cues and go in

If you have a a Disneyland reservation for the day of the preview or any of the previews

you can get into the virtual queue at 7 a.m. just like if you're doing Haunted Mansion or something and then they'll do another opening

I think at noon. And um you have to be in one of the parks for the

the second one. But what do you think of previews? Can I be controversial tonight

Do you not want a preview? I love it. I think it's no

I'm gonna be it, remind me of the old days. So that's what I was going to say. It actually feels like there is a

perk to having a, I am using a blanket term. I'm not calling it the old name

an annual pass to the park or the resort. It feels like there are genuine perks again because I remember even as much as seven

or eight years ago it'd be like, oh, we're going to have this thing in Opera House or we're gonna have this event over here

And if you sign up, you get this, it really made it something special. And yes

we have gotten the patches and the buttons and those are nice

But I think things like this really incentivize people to carry that annual pass and it really puts people in this club

so to speak of, You get to experience things first because you are an annual pass holder

Sorry, not, I know we're not, I know we're magic key holders but because you are a magic key holder

but because you have this loyalty and this pass, you get to experience

these things. And I, I just think that that's something that we've been missing at Disneyland

Well, especially when you consider the patches and the buttons were at paid events and really the things that you get for free were more

of, uh I think there was uh the cards, there's been some bags and the opportunity to buy some other things and

and I do think it's nice to have something that you can just show up for and do like the old opera house events or

the old uh didn't they have, uh what was it called when you go see the characters annual passholders

Um Anyway, they, they had, they've had different things through the years that have, have been very special

And I think those have been highlights for annual passholders that have been around for a long time where it's like

oh, I really liked this. This was a high point of having my pass and in these

this will probably be one of those things that people will talk about for years, if not decades of like

oh, I got to go on Tian's Bayou Venture on October 21st or the 25th or whatever it is

um, before it opened. And I think that's something that's, that's special to people. I do think um the the other thing is like I'm

looking at Coy's comments and um a lot of these things also I missed and I'm somebody that lives very close to Disneyland

but these like the foam cloth for turning red, some of these bags

the window to get them has been so narrow. Um, or the other problem because the window is so narrow

We are there, the line is very long and so I just go

yeah, I guess so. Well and so this is something very, very cool I really like and I do believe you do have to have

a magic key to be able to get the reservation and go to the window

Um I think there are, yeah. Yeah, and there'll be a multiple days throughout the weeks coming up into the official opening

limited time. Magic was fantastic. Um Also opening on October 25th, which I believe is next Friday is the Hungry Bear

Barbecue. Jamboree. Hunger Bear. Yeah. Yeah. Hard name. Barbecue. Jame Hungry Bear

Barbecue Jam Bery. Is that what I said? Um, I don't know what I said. I was just processing

but we're gonna barbecue again at Disneyland. I'm excited about this. We're also gonna have country bear music

excited about that. And I saw from the Mark Twain the other day

some of the artwork that's gonna be up on the walls. I'm also excited about this

I think this is gonna be such a cute and hopefully delicious place to visit

In fact, I could see it becoming one of my favorite restaurants at Disneyland

What do you think? I think it's gonna be great. I also think it was uh very funny tonight

We had a very wonderful, incredible server. Her name was Hannah. She's from Kent

Um And she truly could not fathom like, wait, you guys got rid of the Country Bears

but you're getting a restaurant and I'm like, yeah, but we're bringing back the Country Bears the only way we can

Um And so something like this. Well, yes, it is not the Country Bear Jamboree

And yes, I am very sad about that. I wish we had it at Disneyland still

I think that this is a great tribute and a great um homage

I guess if you will. Um Even if like, I don't, I think it's gonna be something that even if you're not going to eat

I think it's going to be fun to hear the Country Bear music and to see the Country Bear sights and Hungry Bear before was

kind of like inspired by Country Bear. And so I think that this is going to

um, so here's my big question that this just brought up in my head. Yes

So they say it's good that they're bringing back the Hungry Bears through this restaurant

Country Bears through the old hungry Bear restaurant. So would the same apply for the Muppets in Disney California adventure

And I don't know where it would go. I was like in where, I don't know

I just was like, hm. Muppet restaurant could be fun. Um You could have Muppet pilots

you could go back to taste pilot or you could come up with some Muppet name. Um No

So what it would have to be, no, not Mava pilots. Yes, it could be taste pilots still

But it's Gonzo, the great Gonzo has done a spectacular stunt. Bring back

I know it exists because I know it's under those posters. The cutout of Gonzo going through the wall over there

bring back the motorcycle. That'd be great. Bing Bang. Well, you could keep the menu the same like

and the whole restaurant could be decorated with like Gonzo's great adventures and his stunts or just make it a test pilot and like kind

of keep it more in the direction of what it is. So it fits with the whole theme of the land. And then have Swedish

Swedish chef, restaurant, boardwalk, pizza and pasta, but a Swedish chef. Yeah

And then turn the whole area into Muppets and then have a Muppet show that happens there

I like that one the best. And then we could have, that's a fantastic idea

A show where they are testing out something, maybe, uh, not two d

not four, maybe 3d. Um, and they could invite some of the greatest scientists

but I'm not sure of Chanel, like none of them show up. It always happens

Um And there won't be any cheap 3d tricks except maybe one or two cheap 3d tricks

Yup. All right. Yes. Anyway, it just popped in my head. That's what I would like to see happen

Uh We also have this week also we have the menu for the hunger

the Country Bear, barbecue, the Hungry Bear. Oh, it is the Hungry Bear

barbecue jam, barbecue with music from the Country Bears. I'm having a hard time with this man

We also learned this last week. I think it was Wednesday. The Disneyland Resort has raised its prices again by about 6% which is normal

Like that is pretty much always the level they went. And, um

judging by how busy it's been this year, that's not a huge surprise to me

Maybe it's a little bit less busy, but I honestly wouldn't mind if it was even less busy

And like I would always prefer to make it a better guest experience for the person that saved up for multiple years to come

And so they can get the most out of the trip, even if that means they're spending 20 $30 extra a day per person

Mainly because that is my back story. Uh When I was a kid

we didn't go very often, but we'd occasionally get to go to California. We would get one day at Disneyland when we went

my parents would save up for it and uh, we would eat sandwiches in the parking lot because we'd saved up to go to Disneyland

not eat at Disneyland. And, and I think, I think there's something great about getting to go and experience Disneyland in itself and

we forget that, um, not everybody can do it and people do save up for it for a long time

So they should get the best experience they can get. And if the prices are too low

yes, you're getting in easier. But so is everybody else and then the lines are longer the

like it, things end up breaking it just, it's, it's not as good of an experience

And we've seen times in the Disney history where that's happened. So

um, I feel like I say this every year, but I don't think it's the worst thing in the world

Do I like paying more. Not at all. Um I think it's painful

I think it's not so fun. But I also think it's one of those things that you either make it a priority or you don't

And if you don't, that's ok too. One because you're voting with your

your wallet and two, maybe it makes it that much more special when you do go back in a year

two years, three years or longer. And, um, and it changes the Disneyland experience for you and

and maybe it's, maybe that's a good thing. I don't know, I would like to say

I do not send for corporations, ok? Like I am not going to say Mr Disney

you can do whatever you want. But this is a reality of supply and brand

It is a, a reality of how this all works. If a lot of people want something

they get it like that, they have to raise the price because the supply of Disneyland has not changed

They still only have so much to do. And so because the demand is so high prices have to raise

that affects me as well. Um I don't have a million dollars

I I'm not launching rocket ships in this space like I, I don't have all the money in the world

but I recognize that this is something that it's not just important to me

It's important to a lot of other people. And so they have to raise prices like this is quite literally just how things work and

will they find a breaking point at some point probably. I think they have before

I think we've seen times where they perhaps have gone too far up

And so they've slowed down how quickly they've raised prices afterwards. Um

but, you know, it is, it is, it's an, it's an yze and adjust thing. Like

I think they do their best and they probably have a million com computer models or something and a bunch of smart people sitting in

a room. It's like this is what the math tells us and this is what the demand is telling

Like I think, and here's the thing, I took a P honors and honors

No, I took a P government and honors economics. So I vaguely know what I'm talking about for the most part

these are actual economists that they have sitting in rooms being like these are the trends

these are what's happening, this is the increase that can happen. Um They are making extremely informed decisions based on

data and if it doesn't work, everybody's going to know. Um, but it's leading to some fun

exciting things. We're gonna get new attractions, we're gonna get new lands in the future. We're gonna get the return of paint the night

which will be a lot of fun. And I think people are just gonna freak out about next year and

uh, and I'm looking forward to it because I feel like I'm a better photographer now. So, um

that's, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Uh moving over to Walt Disney World because time is flying Santa Claus is

going to the Dino Dino Institute at Disney's Animal Kingdom this holiday season

And I think that's interesting because I think the Dino Institute is going away

So part of me thinks this is the most clever send off fun way to like make it big

make it great as you're going a going away party. And part of me is also like

are they gonna get a bunch of people to fall in love with this thing and then take it away? Like I could see both

happening and I, I'm, I'm very amused by it. So here's the other thing that I can be thinking as I just said earlier with

corner at the end of things before they were changing it to bayou country

you stop having the ac running, you stop fixing certain things so on and so forth

Maybe this is the way of yes, we can't put all this money into fixing XYZ

but we have clauses coming to town. Um Again, I do think this is a very sad thing of like we

are taking it away, but here is a lot of love for the lamb that it has not gotten previously a video of entertainment there

right now. I believe so. I believe um trop triceratops spin is closing in January

as are a couple of other things. Then the whole land is going away and then Indiana Jones and in Conta will be coming to

that area for tropical, uh, was it trop tropical Americas? My question is once Indy arrives

and Mirabel arrives, does Santa come back? Maybe? Because that would be funny

And where would he go? He's gonna go right next to Indiana Jones

And if he's delivering presents, Indiana is gonna go belong to the museum. Ok

Yeah, that's what happens. I'm, I'm all for that. I think that's, that'd be very funny

Um, I also, the guy is still singing about dinosaurs for some reason

He's thinking about it from Indiana Jones. Maybe that is the animal that Indiana Jones is facing off again is actually he discovers the dinosaurs

and he's in its present day or not present day. But it's like the last movie Indiana Jones

So there's the joke made like I am a dinosaur and then dinosaurs came back and then baby Aladar

all of that stuff or Indie dressed as Santa that could be and then Indie dressed as Santa or they just move him to Pandora

Pandora needs to, we are going to impart our Christmas values onto the NAVI

No, I think they would just do it in a little camp for themselves. Uh

yeah, because isn't that the whole point of they're like, they're like, hey

we're over here and they're over there. We're just observing. Yeah. But Santa Claus could come for the people in the encampment

Sure. Yeah. Ok. That's what I thought. At least. I think, I think it would be fun

Um, I am curious though where Santa will end up next year because next year presumably that's a construction zone

And, um, maybe with Nemo they're going to put him in the show in the big blue world

Santa, you go to Everest, he'd fit right in. There you go

Be perfect. Um, all right. Uh, they're also getting three new entertainment offerings coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

which I think is very interesting, um, that they're leaning into the entertainment because you also have the Mary Menagerie returning to Disney's

Animal Kingdom this year. Um And hopefully for future years too, but this year you're also getting

uh, I think it's called Jolly Jugglers or something in uh Disney's Hollywood Studios

Maybe that'll open and I can read it. Uh, but you're getting Jolly Jugglers

you're getting a basically like a marching band. Juggle elves, juggle elves band and then Seasons jukebox

that's the actual marching band. There's also a brass band, which is the second one

Yeah. Um, I think you passed it. But, yeah, um, Holiday Spirit band is the brass band

The Jukebox, which I love a brass band at Christmas time. Season's Jukebox is like a marching band

which is fun. I'm excited. I think it's great and it also makes me think they should bring back the college band

That's, that's just my thought. I think that would be fantastic. What do you think of these three

Which one are you most looking forward to? Which one do you think is going to be the most popular? I think Seasons Jukebox is

most popular because I think he's going to draw the most. I think I am most excited for if I can remember the name of

the holiday Spirit band because a brass band during the holidays is so like

I'm curious if it's going to be like the Dickens band on Main street or is it going to be more of like a bigger

like, more brassy and more bold? So, I think it might be a little bit more brassy

I'm hoping for the Dickens band because I think the Dickens band is so unbelievably magical

They're charming and it's so like you sit there and if there's a bit of chill in the air and you're like

oh, this is what the holidays are. And I just think it's really fun

It makes you want to go home and watch Muppet Christmas carol. And I think that if it's something like that

that's what I'm most excited for. If not, I think it's going to be, um

season juke box because I love a marching band. I think that's going to be the most popular juggling is just not my thing

I think there's a possibility for it to be really because they said they're going to lean into humor

So I think there's a possibility that could be really fun. Like, do you think that

um, well, in Italy, in Italy? But, no, I'm thinking of Magic Kingdom

Mickey's, what was it called? Tune Time Fair. Oh, may, I don't know the juggler that was there

Yeah, maybe the club. Well, I don't know if it's one juggler or multiple jugglers

Like, who's to say I'm gonna guess multiple. But I don't know, like

it'll be interesting to see, Um, I would love to see personally because they're also doing like a frozen holiday overlay thing for

the sing along and, and they have various nights coming back. So that means you get the sing along for

they like sing alongs, don't they? The nightmare before Christmas, there's a lot going on. But the one I really want

if you're gonna do a sing along, you stole it. I was asking a question

It was leading up to it. But no, seriously, if you're doing

if you're going to do a sing along, what if he did Gonzo and Rizzo leading Muppets Christmas carol

in a theater? But my addendum passed me the entire movie. I want to sit there like all the songs of the entire movie

Oh, no, I want to watch the entire, you have to cram it into 18 minutes or whatever it is

I mean, I like that idea. That song has to, ok. If we're cramming it in 18 minutes

that has to be there because the holiday Scat is Muffet Christmas Carol

I think you could even open that. Like you could open with that and then walking on it and then guns was like

hey, you're here, you know, like a surprise thing. Maybe, maybe, maybe be can set off the fire in the theater in the Disney

California picture. That's where it should go. That'd be great if you're gonna do something new

that's what you should do. I think so. Clocky. It's really funny that you reference that because that is the moment we've been quoting a

lot lately. Every time we go or maybe to each other, every single time it ends with beam can set off the fireworks

That is true. Hopefully he does. Um No, that would be my idea for a Christmas entertainment edition

Do you have one? Uh No. Ok. I don't have any grand ideas

I mean, we already got the Muppets. I just want them to be more Muppet. Ok

You mean the one that's in Jolly Wood Nights or? I want, I would want honestly that to be way more Muppet like do a

full Muppet show there because it's really just a variety show, not a variety show

but it's a variety show hosting. I want them to have like a show with more Muppets

Yes. All right. We are running out of time per night for tonight

We have been up for, I think, like 40 something hours. So we're a little bit loopy

But the show must go on but not this show because it's over Katie
