Season of the Force returns to Disneyland on March 28th and continues through May 11, 2025. With the return of this celebration of all that is Star Wars this year comes some new offerings. This includes the temporary arrival of Luke Skywalker and also a new projection show. Below is a look at what will be offered at the Disneyland Resort for the 2025 Season of the Force.
Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga
A new projection show, Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga will debut on March 28th. It will be offered nightly and take guests on a storytelling adventure across the galaxy.
The spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon will come to life during this show with stunning projection effects. It will share some of the greatest moments from a galaxy far, far away that will be accompanied by an iconic musical score with some favorite themes that are heard throughout the Skywalker saga. This show promises to draw viewers into the legendary story of the Skywalker. The Disneyland App and Disneyland.com will have showtimes.
Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker will be visiting Batuu for a limited time during the season of the Force. This is the first time this Jedi will appear at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. For residents of Batuu who don’t know the bigger Skywalker story, Luke will appear as a shadowy visitor who is only rumored to be Luke Skywalker. However, those who are well versed in the Force and know about the Skywalker story will know the truth!
Fire of the Rising Moons
On select nights Fire of the Rising Moons will be returning to the skies over Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This is a fantastic way to experience Disneyland’s fireworks display in a different way.
The special gathering sees villagers and visitors come together to celebrate their freedom and honor the heroes and legends of the galaxy who came before. The skies over Batuu light up with bursts of color and the iconic Star Wars musical scores of John Williams can be heard.
Guests can watch Fire of the Rising Moons from the Black Spire Spaceport, the TIE Echelon docking platform, and also the speeder garage area. For those wearing a charged MagicBand+, the band will come to life with the show. Times for this performance can be found on the Disneyland app or Disneyland.com.
Hyperspace Mountain
Space Mountain will turn into a Star Wars adventure during Season of the Force when it becomes Hyperspace Mountain. Guests will find themselves in the middle of a battle between Rebel X-wing starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters as they zoom through space. This attraction is also included with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premiere Pass (subject to availability) for those who would like a shorter wait time.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
Another great Star Wars experience during Season of the Force is Star Tours – The Adventures Continue in Tomorrowland. This Starspeeder flight will take guests on an adventure where they can experience one of over 250 different storyline variations. During these various adventures, guests might see characters from Ahsoka, Andor, or The Mandalorian as seen on Disney+. They might also visit the planet Seatos from the Ahsoka series or receive urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, or Grogu.
Star Wars Attractions at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Throughout the year, including when Season of the Force is being offered, guests can enjoy their own Star Wars story with two attractions at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This includes Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run where guests get to fly the Millennium Falcon or they can experience a battle between the First Order and the Resistance with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Along with the attraction in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there are also some other moments and familiar characters that can be found by guests visiting Batuu.
