Downtown Disney District continues to move ahead full steam with its transformation. There are a lot of exciting things that have happened and continue to happen in Downtown Disney. Anyone who has walked through the District recently can see that change is afoot. Today, the Disneyland Resort announced the opening date for three of the new establishments in the Downtown Disney District. It also showed concept art for other new locations that will soon be enjoyed by guests visiting Downtown Disney District.
Avengers Reserve
Avengers Reserve will be opening on December 6, 2024. When it does, guests will get to shop for collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys, and comics inspired by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The interior of the shop will have a high energy, industrial vibe and include lighting effects, authentic film props, and a media screen that has a gaming demonstration station. There will also be a 9-foot Incredible Hulk sculpture smashing through the wall, while Spider-Man has climbed atop the building. It looks to be quite the exciting shopping location in the Downtown Disney District!
D-Lander
D-Lander will also be opening on December 6, 2024. This will be a fresh, quintessentially Southern California boutique that celebrates trend-forward fashions for Disneyland Fans. It will offer a stylish collection of apparel, accessories, and jewelry. This will include co-branded collections with Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke and a dedicated Pandora Jewelry shop-within-a-shop. The location promises to be light, bright, and modern with pops of colors. There will be a relaxing lounge area and fitting rooms that are surrounded by eye-catching artwork.
Disney Wonderful World of Sweets
The sweetest location in Downtown Disney District perhaps, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will be opening this winter. This will be a whimsical candy shop that will offer treats like churro toffee, caramel apples, packaged confections, and freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn. The shop itself will feature dimensional murals and exhibition kitchens that will be viewable from both outside and inside the shop.
Parkside Market
Also opening this winter is Parkside Market on the west end of the district. It will have found unique locations under one roof. Today, it was revealed that the name of the second story bar is Vista Parkside Market. It will offer wonderful views of the district to enjoy while sipping on signature craft cocktails and mocktails that are made with local ingredients and artful garnishes. These promise to pair with Parkside Market menus that include full service right to your table.
Other locations at Parkside Market include Seoul Sister (fast-casual modern eatery serving Korean-style rice bowls), Sip & Sonder (lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks, and delicious small bites), and GG’s Chicken Shop (chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides).
