On Friday, March 13, 2026, Oga’s Cantina reopened in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. The cantina had been closed since the end of January. It was closed to be renovated ahead of the expansion of the timeline in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This expansion will bring in new characters from different eras of Star Wars.

The reopening of Oga’s Cantina saw the location looking polished and refreshed. Fog could be seen coming from the center of the bar. DJ RX also appeared to have some updates to his dialogue, with no references to the First Order included anymore. This makes sense as the First Order will be leaving Batuu with Darth Vader and the Empire arriving instead on April 29th. Friend of Daps Magic, Spencer, stopped by Oga’s Cantina on the 13th and took the following photos of the cantina.

The expanded timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will see more characters from different timelines arriving on Batuu. There will also be John Williams’ Star Wars music added to the land.
