Pixar’s Hoppers arrives in theaters this weekend. With its arrival comes some fun activities around the Disneyland Resort, along with some great merchandise. One of the activities is Mabel’s Seek & Find at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Another comes from the Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure. At the Animation Academy, guests visiting The Happiest Place on Earth can learn how to draw characters from Pixar’s newest film.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Hoppers characters that guests could learn how to draw under the tutelage of a talented animator include:
- Mabel
- Tom Lizard
- King George
This is a great experience for first-time sketch artists or seasoned doodlers. It shows how these characters come to life and also gives guests the chance to take home their one-of-a-kind keepsake.
For those who want to experience the animation academy, classes begin every 30 minutes throughout the day. They can be found in the Disney Animation Building in Hollywood Land. No reservations are required for this experience. Simply show up, wait in line, and enjoy this creative experience.
