It was a cool evening in Disneyland Paris as dignitaries, celebrities, and other special guests celebrated the opening of World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris. This comes a day after the French President, Emmanuel Macron, stopped by to visit the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris. On hand for the event were Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro, Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum, and other high-profile guests, including Christian Louboutin, Isabelle Huppert, Léna Mahfou, and others. This came ahead of the official opening of this reimagined park on March 29, 2026.
“Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “From the screen to our parks, cruises, and beyond, its impact continues to grow, and with World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World, we’re giving guests at Disneyland Paris the opportunity to experience that story in entirely new ways.”

During the ceremony, Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland® Paris, said: “With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we’re opening the door to a new era. An era where our guests walk straight into the heart of the stories they love.”
“We continue to expand Disneyland Paris with ambition and purpose.” Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences, added. “The reimagining of our second gate reflects the very best of what Disney represents: boundless imagination that brings people together.”

After an inaugural moment bringing together Josh D’Amaro, Natacha Rafalski, and Thomas Mazloum, the ceremony continued with the arrival of Rapunzel, Flynn, and their friends. This group performed a musical piece paying tribute to the new attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin. This is located along Adventure Way. Then, as the scene gradually froze over, French-American singer Santa appeared, accompanied by her ice piano, and she performed Into the Unknown from Frozen 2. Santa was joined by Lou, aged 11. Lou’s wish was granted in collaboration with Make-A-Wish France, marking the 25,000th wish fulfilled for a child at Disneyland Paris since 1992. During this emotional moment, Lou sang a part of Do You Want to Build a Snowman? before being joined by Olaf on the stage.

This was a beautiful moment that marked the milestone of 25,000 wishes granted for ill children since 1992 at Disneyland Paris. The climax of the evening was a spectacular finale with Santa singing Let It Go with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf on hand. This moment was made even more magical by the incredible Disney magic of an ice piano with immersive pyrotechnic effects that lit up the Arendelle Village and Adventure Bay. This was a beautiful and memorable moment that was met with a warm response on a cool evening from the audience.

On hand for the night was an impressive lineup of international and French celebrities. This ranged from icons of cinema and fashion to music stars, sports legends, and leading digital creators. Included on the guest list were French cinema legend Isabelle Huppert, Léa Seydoux, prominent French actors Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, and Hafsia Herzi, one of the most exciting talents of a new generation of French cinema. Also on hand was renowned designers Christian Louboutin, Sébastien Meyer, and Arnaud Vaillant from Coperni.
On top of that, former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, leading French artist Louane, and Santa participated in the magical evening. Football stars Olivier Giroud and Wayne Rooney, French Olympic champion Perrine Laffont, and France’s leading digital creators Léna Mahfouf, Natoo, and Joyca also enjoyed the event.
Before the inaugural ceremony, select guests were given exclusive previews of Disney Adventure World’s new offerings. These guests included Teyana Taylor, recently awarded Best Supporting Actress at the 2026 Golden Globes, Academy Award-winning actress Penélope Cruz, acclaimed French actor and director Louis Garrel, and football legend Andrés Iniesta.
If that wasn’t enough, some of the key creatives behind Frozen 3 were also guests. This included Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush, Writer/Director of the Frozen films Jennifer Lee, her fellow Frozen 3 director, Trent Correy, and Frozen returning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, all of whom are working on the next Frozen film.
