On February 8, 2026, Super Bowl LX was held in Santa Clara, California. The game featured the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. The end of the game saw the Seattle Seahawks defeating the Patriots 29 to 13. At the conclusion of the game, running back Kenneth Walker III was named as the MVP. Walker will be going to Disneyland tomorrow with quarterback Sam Darnold.
This continues the tradition of the Super Bowl champion shouting the words “I”m going to Disneyland” after winning the big game! This is then turned into a commercial by Disney that began in 1987 when the New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms appeared in the first commercial of this kind following his team’s win. This year, Walker and Darnold yelled together “We’re going to Disneyland!” They now join the ranks of other illustrious players including Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Jerry Rice who have gotten to shout this statement or one like it.
The Seahawks stars’ standout performances powered Seattle to a commanding Super Bowl LX win, showcasing precision, poise and leadership on football’s biggest stage. Walker’s efforts added up to 161 total yards, earning him the game’s Most Valuable Player honor and, along with Darnold, the starring role in one of the most recognizable commercials in sports and entertainment. Next year, this commercial will be celebrating its 40th year!
On Monday, the game’s star playerS will be visiting Disneyland for a very special day. This will include a celebratory cavalcade on Main Street, USA at 1:15 PM where they will get to have a Disney experience unlike anyone else, except perhaps Mickey Mouse. Just like Mickey, the crowd will go crazy as the cavalcade makes its way through Disneyland as they celebrate Sunday’s triumphant win (it’s just like Mickey Mouse defeating Maleficent in Fantasmic!, right!?).
Here is this years Super Bowl “I’m Going to Disneyland” commercial:

The trip to Disneyland will have an added level of being a “homecoming” to Darnold, who grew up in San Clemente. This just just a short trip down the coast from Disneyland in California. He also played college football at the University of Southern California.
