Scrims Come Down After Demolition of Former Home of Earl of Sandwich at Disneyland Resort

The Earl of Sandwich has had a couple of homes at the Disneyland Resort. Currently, it is in a temporary location on the west end of Downtown Disney District near the Star Wars Trading Post. Its most recent home was in the former La Brea Bakery near the Esplanade. This location was recently demolished to make way for a future Porto’s Bakery & Cafe.

After the building came down in the last couple of weeks, fans have been keeping an eagle eye on the location wondering what would be coming next. Apparently, the next step involves the scrim around the construction site coming down. It is unknown when construction on the new building will begin. Daps Magic team member Steven took the following pictures of the location after the removal of the former Earl of Sandwich/La Brea Bakery building.

It is unknown when the new Porto’s will be opening. However, fans who have visited other Porto’s locations are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
