A frequent thing that is heard in the Southwest corner of Disney California Adventure is a cast member saying, “jump, jump, jelly!” as they send guests up and down on Jumpin’ Jellyfish. Guests visiting the park this week will not be hearing this. The kid-friendly attraction at the Disneyland Resort is temporarily closed for a brief refurbishment. According to the Disneyland Resort, the attraction is set to reopen on March 6, 2026.
Daps Magic team member, Steven, stopped by Disney California Adventure and took the following pictures of Jumpin’ Jellyfish being refurbished. Check out the photos he took here:

The refurbishment comes after the announcement that the Disneyland Resort will be delaying the closure of Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! This came out of a special Disneyland Business Update with a few members of the media (including Daps Magic) that shared about the Disneyland Resort business and its priorities. One of these priorities is making the Disneyland Resort accessible for young families. It was acknowledged that Disney California Adventure has room to grow in this realm. Jumpin’ Jellyfish is one of the young-family-friendly attractions in this second park.
