Tron: Ares is currently available for digital download (review here) and will soon be available to purchase on physical media on January 6th. The following day, the latest installment in the Tron franchise will be arriving on Disney+. This will allow fans of the Tron franchise to watch all three films in the same place.

Tron: Ares will also be the newest film on Disney+ to be presented in IMAX Enhanced. This means the movie will be presented in IMAX’s exclusive expanded aspect ratio that is available for all Disney+ subscribers. This ensures that the filmmakers’ creative intent is fully preserved for a more immersive viewing experience at home. Subscribers with certified TVs and AV receivers can also experience IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS, featuring the full dynamic range of the original cinematic mix.
