Paint the Night Parade

Paint the Night Returns to Disneyland After Holiday Hiatus

For the last few months, Disney fans have been asking, “When can we do this again?” After the Paint the Night parade debuted as part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration last year, it went on hiatus starting with Halloween Time and continuing through the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. On Friday, January 30, 2026, the question was answered as the parade made its way through Disneyland once again. The parade was met with enthusiasm by those who were waiting for its return.

The Daps Magic team made the trek into the park to catch the first performance of Paint the Night. On an absolutely beautiful night, the lights went down, and the music came up. Soon, the parade could be seen glowing its way down the parade route. Below is a video that was shot of this parade:

The Paint the Night parade originally debuted at Disneyland as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. Through the years, the parade has returned. For many fans, it is their favorite parade. It is a spiritual successor to the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade. Paint the Night will continue to be offered throughout the run of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. This ends on August 9, 2026.

The parade includes the following sections:

  • Tinker Bell and Friends
  • Monsters, Inc. Dance Party
  • Cars Electric Roadway Jam
  • The Little Mermaid Electric Watercolors
  • Candlelight Dreams
  • Toy Story Electric Rodeo
  • Frozen Fractals
  • Mickey & Friends Lightastic Finale
