Anaheim Ducks Day is on February 22nd this year. This celebration is full of fun activities, merchandise, food, and even the opportunity to meet with some of the Ducks themselves! Ahead of this exciting day, details have been revealed for what will be offered for fans who head to Disney California Adventure on February 22nd. Take Flight Fan Rally
The Take Flight Fan Rally will take place in the World of Color viewing area. This is the main event of the day and will have DJ Jojo, the Power Players (Ducks’ Cheer Squad), and even members of the Anaheim Ducks team on hand! The rally will include some high-energy cheers. There will also be some friendly face-offs between members of the Ducks on the stage. This is the day’s main event, so be sure you don’t miss it!
Locker Room
The Locker Room is where fans can get their Ducks gear. This is a great place to gear up for the Take Flight Fan Rally when it happens later in the day. The Locker Room is found at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard and will include:
- Ducks Gear: Score official Anaheim Ducks Day 2026 gear and merchandise, available for purchase.
- Wild Wing: Meet Wild Wing and snap a selfie for a highlight reel moment.
- Puck Stage Music: Get hyped as a Ducks DJ plays energetic tracks, keeping the excitement going.
Meet the Ducks
There will also be the opportunity to meet players from the Anaheim Ducks. Throughout the day, select Anaheim Ducks players will be on hand at the event. To be able to meet them, get to Disney California Adventure, and pick up an official Ducks Day Fan Photo wristband. This wristband can then be used after the Take Flight Fan Rally in the afternoon for the opportunity to meet and take pictures with select players.
The Ducks Day Fan Photos wristbands will be distributed starting at the opening of Disney California Adventure in the Hollywood Backlot area. Guests who are seeking a wristband can enter the wristband distribution queue as they enter Hollywood Land when the park opens.
Draw Ducks
There will also be the opportunity to learn how to draw some favorite Disney “Ducks” at the Animation Academy throughout the day. After the experience, guests can take home their masterpiece as a memory of the day.
Anaheim Ducks Day Food & Beverages
There will be some specialty food and beverage offerings available as part of the Anaheim Ducks Day celebration. This includes:
- Chicken-Fried Steak Burrito at Studio Catering Co. food truck
- Ducks Day Brownie Cheesecake at Schmoozies!
- Quacktail Cooler at Hollywood Lounge
About the Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks hockey team was founded in 1993 by The Walt Disney Company. They were originally known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. This namewas inspired by the film The Mighty Ducks, which had been released the year before. The name was changed to the Anaheim Ducks for the 2006-2007 season. The team is no longer owned by Disney.
