Not a lot is known about The Simpsons 2 at this point. Earlier this year, a release date and poster were shared for the film. Nothing about the plot was revealed at the time, though. This week, 20th Century Studios released a new date for the film. In a post on social media, the new date was revealed as September 3, 2027. Below is a look at what was posted:
An all-new movie from The Simpsons, now coming to theaters Labor D’OH Weekend, 2027!
20th Century Studios
The Simpsons Movie was released in 2007. In it, Homer has a new pet pig, and there is a leaky silo that is full of excrement that triggers a disaster that doesn’t just threaten Springfield, but the entire world. After an angry mob descends on the Simpsons’ home, Homer goes on a quest for redemption to save the world and also earn Marge’s forgiveness.
What do you think about a second movie based on The Simpsons being released in theaters? Will you be seeing it on “Labor D’OH Weekend?” Do you have any predictions for what the plot of this movie will be? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
