In November, the Disney Destiny was christened and then went on to go on her maiden voyage. She is now in the midst of her inaugural season of 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. The christening of this beautiful new ship, which is themed to heroes and villains, took place on November 10th. Susan Eagan was the godmother. During the christening, Egan said, “I christen thee, Disney Destiny. May God bless this ship and all who sail upon her.”

Now, a little over a month later, Disney Experiences is sharing a new episode of Disney Unscripted that takes a behind-the-scenes look at how this christening came together. The Disney Destiny has a theme of heroes and villains. This theme can be found throughout the ship in its decorations, entertainment, dining experiences, and a whole lot more. It can also be found on the ship’s Christmas tree in the Grand Hall. The ship is the seventh ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the third Wish-class ship owned by Disney.
