Disneyland will be ringing in the New Year on the evening of December 31, 2025, into January 1, 2026, with presentations of the New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks Spectacular. This will accompany the other New Year’s Eve offerings that will be found throughout the Disneyland Resort.

According to the Disneyland website, the New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks Spectacular will be offered twice on New Year’s Eve. The first presentation will be at 9:00 PM, which is also midnight on the East Coast. The second will be at midnight and officially ring in the New Year at the Disneyland Resort. This is consistent with offerings in recent years.

Throughout the Disneyland Resort, guests will also find other fun offerings. This generally includes DJs found in different parts of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, special New Year’s Eve costumes for some Disney characters, and other offerings.

The New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks Spectacular will be replacing Believe… in Holiday Magic for this one night only. The holiday fireworks spectacular will continue to be offered throughout the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This holiday celebration continues through January 7, 2026.

New Year’s Eve at the Disneyland Resort is generally very busy (unless impacted by weather). Expect long lines for just about everything and crowds just about everywhere. It is quite the experience, but it can also be overwhelming. Generally, Disney California Adventure is not as busy as Disneyland. It also generally has a New Year’s moment with the World of Color fountains. It is unknown at this time if this will happen. Currently, World of Color Happiness is scheduled to be offered at 7:00 PM and 8:15 PM, so a New Year’s Eve moment at 9:00 PM and 12:00 AM is definitely a possibility.
